That should be our sig, Swampy.
sari I am fully clothed. Nobody puts dollar bills in my thong when I wear it to irk so I gave up.
Maybe you should lose the thong and wear a garter?
Some how or another all this talk of Swampy in a thong has me envisioning the bear from the Jungle Book singing the “I want to walk like you, talk like you do” song, in a thong.
Need brain bleach
Mawnin all, happy Friday
Caffeine is a kicking in and I am a happy camper, off to work with the hippies tonight
Jim
Brain bleach - nah.
Self-administered ice-pick lobotomy - uh-huh!

It’s always about makin’ the correct fashion choice ain’t it. ![]()
My work here is done.
Of course it is an ape in the song not a bear but the image remains the same

@Rio fyi Jim is not my real name, it is my mumper name. I just sign all my posts, much to the annoyance of other dopers. Here I am Jim elsewhere **Capt
Jim**
That would be Baloo.
I see him more like Big Al from Country Bear Jamboree. ![]()
I just finished my leftover Chinese - it was better last night. But at least it was an easy lunch.
I’ve got 2 dozen boiled eggs that need to be peeled, de-yolked, and dyed. There’s my afternoon.
Nah. definitely Baloo.
When I came home midday to grab lunch and get DH off to work (one car, two people), she still hadn’t consumed her breakfast, but when I got home in the evening she had, and ate her dinner reasonably promptly.
You think he has those mad moves, rosie?? Ya think he can shake his money-maker??

I have dyed 2 dozen hard-boiled egg halves - 8 turquoise/green, 8 pink, 8 purple. They’re kinda terrifying - I’ll make sure to get a photo at Mom’s when I put them all together. I’ve also got a dozen of non-dyed halves for the faint of heart. And the last half-dozen of eggs didn’t peel well, so they’ve become egg salad.
**FCD **went out on his bike and was back pretty quick - it started spitting. Plus it’s barely 50° and overcast - not exactly biking weather. Tomorrow, there’s an open house at the dealership and a 2-hour ride. I’ll drive over there and get a hot dog. He’s going to ride over there, then go on the ride. In theory, the weather will be nicer. We shall see.
I should be able to load my kiln tomorrow - I’m pretty sure all the pieces are dry, but just to be sure, I’ll have them hold at 180° for a couple of hours. Then they’ll fire overnight Saturday to Sunday, and I can unload them on Monday and start glazing. Yay!
We just marked some trees in our woods that we want our yard workers to hack up and get out of the way so I can drive back there with my mower and cart. There are a ton of iris that I want to transplant to the front hill, and I can’t get to them easily just yet. They’re supposed to come on Monday.
That’s the latest news from FairyChatEstates.

With what do you dye they after they are peeled, Fairychat?
Hell to the yeah! ![]()
Well that was unexpected but I think I will take it. I haven’t had a steady gig for the past several years, mostly because touring takes me away and someone has to take over when I am gone. I have kinda been looking for something even out of the production field because, well, I like having money. So, I met a guy who has been around the Houston music scene even longer than I have by mixing one of his bands at the hippie place. Seems he was really pleased with the way I mix because he offered me a job in his recording studio. We still have some things to work out but in some ways it is perfect, very flexible and no early hours, when I go on tour I have something to go home to etc. The only trick, I haven’t made a record since 2004 and before that was 1997. We shall see but I think this just might work well. Oh, and too boot, the studio is within walking distance from my house albeit a long walk but still. I can bicycle there in about seven minutes. Didn’t see that coming but I’m not complaining, no siree Bob.
Happy Friday all
Jim
Need. More. Icepicks. (Along with bleach & a funnel)

Glad things are going better for DH, gotti.

I wish I could say things are better. At the moment, they’re just somewhat more tolerable. I will take it as a good sign that he was feeling well enough to re-arrange stuff on the kitchen counters today.
Today’s ten-dollar term is moist desquamation, and it’s going to take about two weeks to heal.
Well, we do see a marked increase in the alms basin when I ush wearin’ a thong. Just sayin’…
Here’s how I did my eggs. I bought neon food coloring that had pink, purple, blue, and green.
Egg salad sammiches for supper. That’s easy enough.
turquoise? pink and purple?
Oye.
