It’s Your Move
Yes, this one too. It’s too bad there were only a handful of episodes.
Undeclared
Early Edition (with Parker Stevens)
Seinfeld (after getting out of jail)
Whose Line (U.S. version)
Drew Carey Show (working in dept store)
I may be the only one who’s heard of this, but I really liked “Son of the Beach.” Very funny scripts, and great eye candy.
The Rockford Files
Twin Peaks
Two and Half Men with Charlie Sheen. Sorry Ashton.
Arrested Development
I liked that too! His Springer parody talk show was a riot too!
Life
Journeyman…it was just getting interesting
Fawlty Towers
And yeah, Firefly
I’ll second this one. While the show had it’s problems, I never the less really enjoyed it.
Funnily enough I actually credit the show with making me aware of the work of Johnny Cash. :dubious:
Love that show. I miss it
DEFINITELY Firefly! Number one!
Twin Peaks
MST3K
SOAP ( if they could magically have the original cast too )
Thirded, I loved that show too!
I don’t know about a series “Pinball”, but Burke wrote a book, The Pinball Effect, which is “hyperlinked” throughout. It would make a good series. Also his book *The Knowledge Web." He wrote a series of columns in Scientific American circa 2000 that were collected in book form as Circles, which had lots of material for a Connections/DtUC -type series.
+1
FIREFLY
The Middleman
FIREFLY
Farscape
FIREFLY
Better Off Ted
FIREFLY
Brimstone
FIREFLY
MST3K, but only if Dr. Forrester and TV’s Frank return with it. Pearl, Brain-guy, and Bobo were fun too, but I miss the old Mads
FIREFLY
Good vs Evil, or G vs. E
FIREFLY
I liked that show too.
But the one I’d really like to see again is Numb3rs.
Trapper John, M.D.
St. Elsewhere
Clone High: Too many recent animated series have kept going past the time when they wore out their premise. This one ended (on a cliffhanger) just as it was hitting its stride.
Karen Sisco: A good series based on a good movie (Out of Sight). Plus Carla Gugino. Cancelled after a single season and it hasn’t even been released for home viewing.
The Jackie Thomas Show: I know. A sitcom with Tom Arnold? But it was actually really good.
Speaking of Platt, he did a series called Queens Supreme (not a great title) where he played a judge. Good show but it only lasted three episodes. Another series I’d like to see get a DVD release (especially to see the ten episodes that weren’t broadcast).
My top priority is easily Carnivale.
Also Arrested Development (supposedly getting new episodes as a Netflix exclusive?)
Haven’t seen it mentioned, but I would have loved several more seasons of Father Ted (impossible, the lead actor died.)
MST3K with all of the casts but with an entirely new subplot.
Wonderfalls.
Mr. Show
Sci-Fi had some enjoyably stupid (or stupidly enjoyable) reality shows that would be fun to see more eps.
My Name is Earl
Better Off Ted
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World
She Spies
