I thought it was spring. Silly me. It’s snowing. Looks like there’ll be a nice layer of white tomorrow morning.

I just washed my cat. It’ll take me hours to get the hairs off my tongue.

Okay, call me sick and twisted, but I like snow–and yep, we have the white fluffy stuff on the ground here, too.
It was pretty, if weird: snow on the newly green grass, the dogwoods and redbuds and the spring flowers. It’s a very wet snow so with any luck it won’t harm the new growth much. (And it’s supposed to be around 70 on Sunday!)
Actually, the redbud outside my window is gorgeous with that fluffy white snow over the dark pink flowers.
Hmmph.
Just wanna say that today, here in Albuquqerque, New Mexico, today, it was about 73 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. The was a cool southeasterly breeze and the pool side was quite nice. I got to work on my tan and kick it pool side for about 2 hours before going to work at 4 pm. Today was going great until I had to go to work.
I should have been jogging or something, as kicking it poolside made me realize just how flabby I really am.
Sigh.
Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken.
Well, I guess working on my garden is out this weekend!
2am, and it is still snowing in the Quad Cities. I think it started around 4 or so around here.
I got up this morning, and saw that terrible stuff also. But, this is Michigan, and that is what happens, but remember, this white stuff is just your imagination, because of the Global warming.
Hand me that wrench. No, the one that looks like a hammer.

Well, I can’t wait until the imaginary sun starts imaginarily melting this imaginary snow. I imagine I need to go shopping. It doesn’t take long for the drivers to forget how to drive in this imaginary crap. If they ever knew.

I made my husband join a bridge club. He jumps next Tuesday.
I love snow also, but I also enjoy spring when I get to play in my garden.
I imagine it won’t last much longer since it is already melting and making everything a muddy mess.
I finally got home to Boston from the Quad Cities about 90 minutes ago (It’s 4:30 pm now). Was supposed to be here last night at 8pm.
I enjoyed my week in the Quad Cities (there on business), but all I wanted was to go home! After 4 delays they finally cancelled my 3:20 flight to Chicago at 9pm. sigh
The good thing was that, throughout, the United Airlines staff did a great job of rebooking our connections every 2 hours. They didn’t seem to be ready for that kind of volume, though.
So here I am, having only taken 25 hours to get home.
Plus, it was 30 in Moline when I left and 71 in Boston when I arrived, so I was over dressed and began stripping at the baggage claim area in Logan. Got some disapproving looks.
