Two years ago, there was this French intern here at my work whose lilting voice was very distracting.
Alas, her father was a VP. And she smoked. But still…

My boss. She’s awesome. In a million years I wouldn’t have a hope in hell, and I think I prefer it that way.
You never know; another thread was mentioning how “anything goes” with the language on French TV
gotta go with hugh laurie at the moment.
I have a big crush on one of my friends right now - I’ll call him Teddy, since I think of him as a big teddy bear. We are in a movie club together (point 1 for him - he’s a movie nerd), and he’s

[li]sweet[/li][li]funny[/li][li]smart (a physics and history double major)[/li][li]fun to be around[/li][li]a church goer[/li][/ul]
As well as being completely adorable. He’s got nice fluffy curly hair that I love and nice full lips, and I’ve found myself daydreaming in class many times about what it would be like to kiss him. There’a a chance I might find out tonight, since we are going to a Dance together. I did ask him, but he seemed excited when I asked him, so it’s possible the crush is mutual. I’m so excited!
[Charlton Heston voice]“Take your stinking paws off him, you damned dirty Doper…”[/Charlton Heston voice]
Just kidding, but madonna, medea and da-yumn! is that man fine! I’m watching him on Digging for the Truth right now and everything- the voice, the fact he clearly knows what he’s talking about whether it’s The Lost Colony or the reign of Hatshepsut, etc., the cuteness and the way he fills out those Indiana Jones pants… I would give six months off of my life and one of my kidneys if SHOWTIME or some other channel would star him in Nekkid Archaeology and give me a job on the show.
My supervisor at work. He’s as arrogant as anything and only goes for real good lookers (ie not me) and he’s not even that good looking but there’s just something about him, when he looks at me and smiles I want to grab him
Who don’t I have a crush on? There’s at least one girl in each of my classes, plus any girl that wears those fuzzy sweatpant-things with messages on the ass. But most of all there’s this girl at a different school. The age thing is the problem; she’s not quite 20 and I’m 27. I know she kinda likes me, but she’s young and not looking for anything serious. I’m tired and ready to settle down. I’ll probably see her this summer, but I doubt I can break out of the friend zone. Damn.
Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs.
He is funny, in great shape, has a great voice (does a lot of voice work, including narrating American Chopper) and can look hot while: wrestling a pig, impregnating a horse, sorting alligators, cleaning a sewer, you name it. He brings the yummy.
Don’t even get me started on how the episode title “chick sexer” (or similar) made zone out to a happy place.
One of my bosses, who, not only has a legendary ass, but is all sorts of yummy. He’s a great guy too. I knew him when he was an underling and we have always flirted around, although both of us know it doesn’t mean a damn thing. Other than, you know, that he has a great ass.
Nicely put.
Well, I just 'fessed up to it in ‘Cafe Society’ but - I have a crush on the guy who plays Tori Spelling’s iranian gay best friend on “So NoTORIous.”
I probably would never have gotten sucked into watching that show if not for the fact that one night I happened to be channel surfing and landed on Vh1 just as they were showing a close-up of him. That alone hooked me on the show.
Just got back from a trip to the San Diego area, where I was visiting a sick cat and my Mom (in that order, I guess). Saturday night we got take out food from this Italian restaurant in El Cajon; I went to pick up. The hostess was gorgeous.* Beautiful face, radiant smile, medium length blonde hair (dark roots), hot body, perfect tits, incredibly friendly demeanor. I spent a good chunk of the rest of the weekend thinking about her. Still am thinking about her.
I suppose it’s a little unseemly, given that this girl must be at least 20 years my junior, but this trip was very difficult, as our family’s oldest cat is quite sick (cancer in his spleen, and possibly other places; he had surgery to remove the spleen on Saturday afternoon) and I spent a good chunk of these past few days crying or on the verge of tears. It really took the edge off to have a few happy thoughts about that girl at the restaurant. I’ll never see her again, but I’m grateful. Who says crushes are meaningless or insignificant?
*this is standard operating procedure in the SD area, and probably all of SoCal. Every restaurant I’ve ever been in down there has some amazing looking lass waiting by the door. Drives me nuts…
Besides my undying love for Ryan Reynolds, there are a couple of interesting guys at work. One is in a band, and the other, I don’t know, he just entertains me - even if he is a few years younger than I am.
All right, all right…I admit it! I have a huge crush on a guy I work with.
Unfortunately he is married with 3 kids (not a happy marriage but still a marriage and I don’t mess with other women’s men).
I have had this crush for months and I am embarrassed by it (not sure why, usually I am quite open about things like this). Finally last month I joked about it with a couple people at work, told them “I would be all over him if he weren’t married”. Surprise, surprise, they didn’t seemed shocked. Then a couple days ago he was having a bad day and I wanted to help cheer him up a bit. I told him an ego boost might help his mood, that if he weren’t married I would be all over him and that he was my favorite tech which is saying a lot because we have a great crew. I got a smile out of him and at the end of the day he thanked my for trying to cheer him up (his mood did improve which is what some of us at work were aiming for, he is usually a happy guy).
I work with all men (there is just one other woman) so it is very easy for me to have a small crush at any given time on one of the guys but I have been stuck on this one for months and months. I am hoping saying it aloud to him will break me of it. Plus I don’t like feeling ashamed about a harmless crush.
So, I just admitted my shamefull crush to a bunch of strangers. Thanks everyone, I feel better now.
Ooo, back-to-back crushes on TLC last night: Chip Foose from Overhaulin’, and Chris Garver from Miami Ink. Neither of them is typical dreamboat material, but they are both confident and good at what they do, and comfortable with themselves. Yum. (I was a little turned off by Chip Foose’s bleach-blonde, tanning bed wife but they seemed pretty happy together!)
I’d seen her picture before but somehow she’s gotton even prettier in the interim. How could one ever change the channel while she’s on? She is impossibly beautiful.
My best male friend. Problem is, I’m married. To be honest, this ‘crush’ has been going on since we first met/worked together 9 years ago, so it’s probably much deeper than that. sigh
Tom Hogg…mmmmmm, YUMMY. I’d get rug burn on my knees any day!
I’ve got dibs on auntie em.
