Who has the lowest posts per day?

I must say I have impressively low ppd of .2, up from my previous .18, which I have held for quite some time since a joined this board more than 2 years ago.

Through out my time here I have managed to end many threads (which I can assure you is not because of brilliant answers that solved the OP), and although I have tried many times, I have only managed to get one enemy, who then forgot who I was a few days later. This is also I believe the second threat I have started giving me a 1 thread a year average.

Is there any regular visitor (I get on the board at least every day) more obscure than me? The rules are who ever has the lowest ppd that has been on the board for at least a year wins. Also you must be a regular viewer of the board and not someone who has been on a long SDMB vacation.

And yes I realize this post jeopardizes my chances of winning.

I don’t think you could conclusively do it without spending a good amount of time on it, if not impossible.

Before this post, I had .15, and I’ve made a good 15 posts this week. Can’t say I was on enough though for a while there, though I defintely did come at least a few times a week. For a long, long time I’d only read the BBQ pit, but it’s lovely nature kept me from posting anything.

Oh and that SDMB accident - -can’t remember what – I lost about 11 posts, came back with 1 post. Someone thought I had been here for more than a year and never posted! :eek:

Any lurker will win. I’ve been reading for a good 3-4 years now, and seen fit to post only 9 times preceding this one. I’m sure there are many more out there just like me.

I have been reading this board since the AOL days.

I read it every day and enjoy my time spent on the board.

The problem I have is by the time I read a thread one of the smarter Dopers has said the very same clever thing I was about to post.

As I hate to appear unoriginal my postings will probably remain at the .14 I have currently achieved.

Honest to god I don’t know how someone with 13+ posts a day has time to eat let alone work.

But I guess some people must share wisdom or burst.

I useta had the worst posting rate. On the day I signed up. Until I posted. :smiley: (Not orginal, but that’s not the question, is it?)

My husband’s pretty low. He’s been registered here two years and has maybe seven posts (at least one which is really mine, but he was signed in at the time).

And he didn’t even raise his rate here.

Cesium has .01, it’ll be hard to beat that considering he registered in April 2001.

I thought I might be somewhere in the running with a .1, but I guess not. So sad…:frowning:

Cecil himself has only a 0.08

You can find a few people with non-zero post counts with an average of 0.00 (really being around 0.003 then rounded down). For instance Mike Lenehan has 5 posts, the last one about a year ago. He could even post here and still keep his 0.00 rating. He also appears to work for either the Chicago Reader or The Straight Dope.

I’ll never be in this competition, nor its opposite. Just a middling person am I.

Am I unaware of a PPD button? Are you all actually doing the math on this? I’m too lazy. But I am here at least 4 days a week, so I’ve got to be in the running for Least Amount to Say.
