Meanwhile, just replacing Vance in the #2 slot because he says f—-this in response to Trump deciding it’s the last time he listens to Junior and repeatedly backing the bus over them both, would be awkward as Hell but comparatively no sweat as long as it’s a (forced) withdrawal and another handpick. As mentioned if he refuses to go then it’s a problem since they’d have to actually edit the rules to allow removing him for a cause of no confidence.

The Republican National Committee is composed of about 150 state committee chairmen and national committeemen elected by the state parties.
It is now a fully owned trump outfit. If trump died? Well, who knows? Likely Vance. But if trump went more senile that he already is, or had a stroke- I do not think the RNC would try to replace him.
If Trump dies tomorrow, there is zero chance they go with Vance. It’s clear to all what a bad choice he was as VP. There’s no way they’d see him as their best alternative.
The RNC is 100% trump. and since der Fuhrer anointed Vance, they must follow his orders.

For some reason, Vance has made a habit of going after members of the military and picking fights with those who have done more.
Trump admit to making a mistake? Nah. He probably couldn’t care less about Vance’s weird behavior or foolish remarks. But what he absolutely can’t forgive is the way he’s stolen the limelight from him for several days.
It’s the strategy of owning the headlines/stage. Trump is a master of outrageous behavior and nonsense ideas ourside reality (build the wall, dome over the US, build thousands of new nukes, bleach…).
Vance is just following the script. Attack, attack; force the others to respond to the attack rather than promote policy and ideas.
Our media are suckers for this kind of action. “VANCE CHARGES HARRIS AIRPLANE” gets more space than “HARRIS PROPOSES HEALTH PLAN” complete with rational ideas -Media- “ZZZZZzzzz”.
