I’ll add Coldfire (not sure if anyone has already mentioned him) and his wife (I think her username was Helena).
Why? he was never abusive. So many interesting posters have been banned. So many banal posters remain.

I believe it was spelled Collounsbury. Either way, he was an interesting one. If I recall correctly, he was some sort of expert on the Middle East, its countries’ politics, culture, religion, and so on; and could offer an informed point of view on those topics. Problem was (again, as I recall), that he wasn’t always the most diplomatic of posters when it came to refuting positions that other posters held–some of his responses in GD and IMHO were more appropriate for the Pit. It didn’t help that he was posting in the early 2000s, post 9/11. He was warned, then banned; then after an appeal, came back, when he fell back into his old habits, and was banned again.
Although I ended up on the other side of his ire once, I have found myself missing him also. I’m sure he would have been informative when the world went through the Arab Spring, the rise of ISIS, and so on.
A few more that I’m missing: Northern Piper and Muffin. I don’t seem to recall them posting since the changeover.
Actually, no, I looked it up and my spelling is correct*. But yes, he seem to have quite deep domain knowledge in the middle east, and it was fascinating the discussions he’d jump into. But, yes, little restraint, though it was quite something to watch him go after someone on a factual basis, when he kept his impulses in check and kept it sorta professional.
*Well, that or the Mod was misspelling his name, since his old account is ‘vaporized’.
