He could be a real jerk, and I get why he got banned. But he sure provided a point of view we really don’t see here. Smart too. Shame he couldn’t control himself.
Yeah, there have been various smart people with considerable expertise in certain topics who added much to the board when they behaved themselves, but went off the rails one too many times. Them’s the rules.

I miss @Quagdop_the_mercatan (sp?) He popped into the memorial thread, but I haven’t seen him posting much. He was one of my favorites. I think he said he doesn’t enjoy the new format.

@Satan is someone I miss. He was banned back in '01, so his time here was relatively short, but he was very prolific and made an early impact on the board.
