Who's missing that you really want to see on the Board?

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned una_perrson. I found her contributions to this board to be extremely educational and enlightening. Even though I didn’t ask much of her directly, I learned a whole lot from her.

I saw she made a post on the TubaDiva memorial thread, so I am happy that she’s doing okay.

I’d been thinking about her. She brought a lot to the board. I wish she’d come back.

Another mention of WordMan (and Aanamika, and Stranger on a Train, and…)

ETA: Vinyl Turnip, of course! Wise, funny, and concise.

I think I may have been mixing him/her up with ThelmaLou. (That’s a compliment to both of them).

Ohh, there aren’t a lot of people I really want to read, but there are some it would be nice to have back.
Stranger On A Train (has returned)
LSL Guy (has returned)
Marley23 (hope his book is shaping up)
Bricker
Shodan
Diogenes the Cynic (if he could control the demons)
Hentor the Barbarian (if he could recognize Dio’s demons)
Mean Old Lady
Shot From Guns (funny lady)
…and there was a poster who could defend Israel for weeks on end, with an deeeeep reservoir of knowledge, but I’ve forgotten his handle.

I would be unhappy if Vinyl Turnip drifted away.
John Mace — but if Mr. Sensible thinks that it’s sensible to step away, who am I to argue. And same thing for WordMan

Good Lord, a guy can’t hate this new :boar: + D (oops! Watching too much Concentration) without the :dog2: + Z getting called on him

Ok. You’re here.
Mikey, don’t do that to me.
I worry so.

Satisfying Andylicious

Are you referring to iiandyiiii?

No, he’s around. I left out a space, though. It should be Satisfying Andy Licious.

Oh! Ok.

I would have, but couldn’t remember her name…

I still think that Shodan was unfairly banned, and should be allowed to return.

I never had a problem with him myself, but as many of us know, he often crossed the line with his snarkiness, and I also suspect that he may have been doing stuff in PMs that led to his banning.

I miss @Crotalus. He is/was an infrequent poster, but I have always valued his wisdom and insight. He’s careful with what he chooses to say and manages to do it with the gift of brevity.

I also miss @bare, but I doubt he can be coaxed back.

And will we ever hear from Annie-Xmas again, when the virus is over?

Word Man and Dio. Also Canny Dan and Crotalus (didn’t realize he/she had stopped posting).

Bricker used to be great. Then he got cranky and kinda went off the rails. I am not sure but I think people who were not lawyers daring to question his legal opinions got to him.

So, early Bricker sure.

I also miss Diogenes the Cynic.

I’ve worried and worried about Annie. @Annie-Xmas, I sure hope she’s ok. I can’t take anymore bad news.

Dio was very smart, and made some great contributions to some threads. He could also be a pompous, argumentative ass (which is where he usually got into trouble), and was prone to making ridiculous pronouncements, particularly about any member of the Green Bay Packers, or rock bands that used synthesizers.
