…I could try…
(Me? Cook? Feh. If I can’t nuke it or eat it cold, I don’t bother. I don’t do housekeeping either. Oh, the house is neat enough for close friends, but anything deeper, I call in a crew. I am a bachelor.)

Hey, what’s wrong with liking grape pop tarts? Oh, wait, you probably meant my joking about thirty-five people dying - okay, that’s fair.
Moving on, I stopped at an Italian market yesterday and got a box of those fancy cookies. I’ve been snacking on them all day. There’s about ten different kinds of cookies in the box so I figure that makes for a balanced diet.

Oh… Italian Deli Cookies?! No idea what their real name is, but they are all sorts of om nom nom yum! Our local grocery has them more often than I’d like as they’re so tempting.
I have seen grape Pop Tarts more than once before - might be a regional thing, seeing as how the farmers markets have a lot of scuppernongs, which have that prototypical grape taste, unlike the usual green grapes that taste like not much of anything.
One of my spine docs tells me today that my facet joints are being ravaged by arthritis and excessive leverage caused by the shrunken disc. Oh joy.
That’s ok. Mrs. Plant v.3.0 is the only person I know who cooks as well as I, maybe better.
That does not leave this thread, everyone understand?!?!?!
Yeah, but will he clean, cook, and (Facebook)poke you?
gotti ,bummer.
FCM, I had couth, but my doc gave me antibiotics.
Nemo,
not as well or as often as you. But will you rub my feet with baby oil?
Sure! I can even get it for a good price.
turns out it is happening tomorrow night, but tonight was fun regardless. We ended up staying for almost 4 hours. Got there at six and left at 9:45. We did the Bungee Jump, Rock Wall, Ferris Wheel, and Marry Go Round. The twins had corn dogs and I had an Italian sausage.
We had to take a walk back to the shuttle to get back to our car right after we got there because I forgot to bring enough cash. We had to walk to the gas station next to where we parked to get to the ATM. On our way out of the fair we passed a few vendors, and one was a martial arts studio. They were letting kids kick balsa wood panels and then writing their name on them after they broke them, pretty cute. Then they let them spin a wheel for free lessons or martial arts uniforms, etc. The highest prize was 30 free lessons plus a free uniform. My daughter went first and got the highest prize. Then my son went and got it too! Even in games of chance they always have to have the same thing, LOL. So now we get to set up the 30 free lessons, and if they really like it I may even chip in to get them more lessons. Who knows, they may be the next action stars A brother/sister twin martial arts duo.
Oohhh fun! I am going to check that out!
Blurf.
Went down to the juggling convention yesterday- did absolutely no juggling, as normal, but spent a happy few hours gossiping and saying hi to people I’ve not seen all year, a few minutes of playing with a lasso, and did some origami and a bit of lockpicking. I have no idea why they call it a juggling convention, it’s just a lot of silly people doing odd hobbies in a field.
Going back today, and gonna have a go at knife throwing- it actually looks like decent weather today, there’s even sun out!
Sun is definitely needed, everywhere’s mud and unexpected lakes. Several people’s tents collapsed in the rain earlier in the week, and a few more acquired unexpected water features (including a full-blown stream), so I think I made the right call not bringing a tent. I’m also not sure how a few people are going to get their cars out of the field, it’s practically a swamp. I’m lucky I was so late, they’ve now got permission to use the hardstanding as overflow parking, so no tractor rescues needed for me!
Happy satiday!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis <snerk> 69 <snerk> Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 90 and a chance of rain. Tomorrow and Monday are supposed to be rainy for real. We shall see.
Today’s agenda includes defilthification of da cave and makin’ up some kinda brekkie casserole type thingy for tomorrow. The Lutherans who are hangin’ with us at the church house have a tradition of “Fifth Sunday Breakfast.” So between the two services tomorrow we’re all throwin’ in together to do this. I thought about crescent rolls with those little link sausages in the middle, i.e. sorta, kinda pigs in a blanket. It’d be easy enough. I could also be lazy and just go buy a coffee cake. Or make a casserole. We shall see how adventerous I get after cave spiffin’ is done.
Ok that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then I should commence with some cleanin’. OYKW is still asleep but dustin’ ain’t noisy so I suppose I could start with that. Life is so hard!
Happy Sattidy Y’all!
Up, caffeinated, off to irk. Rain here, too.

Alas, I am more afraid of the vacuum clear than the dog is.
Paging Mrs. Plant!
:p:D
I’ve been trying to keep up, but not doing a very good job this week, I’m afraid.
Condolences to you and your family, FCM.
Hope your dad continues to do better, Taters.
Hugs to all for any other stuff I missed.
I did see Apes’ recipe and have added it to the blog.
Need to get moving on some defilthification of my own and then it’s out to paint. Woo hoo!!
Hugs all.

Cave spiffin’ in progress. All that’s left is to clean the kitchen then mop the kitchen, livin’ room and bathroom floors. For now, however, it’s break time. OYKW vacuumed and dusted stuff even though I told him he didn’t have to do that. Guess I’ll have to “appreciate” him later.
So even though I no longer have the enthusiasm to dress up for Hallowe’en, I was thinking I’d wear trenchcoat over my clothes, a bow tie, a hat like Seven wore, and my Four’s Scarf I’d knitted about 30 years ago. Plus, I’d carry a banana and a pair of cardboard 3D glasses, and maybe a mop.
Rosie sounds like a very formal affair.
Da cave is defilthyfied. YAY!!!
Swampy, So now you have time to come over and do mine?
We are going to pretty much slug around today. Daddy is still out of town and the twins and I slept in. Little Man (LM) got out of bed at 7a and Little Lady (LL) got out of bed at 8:30a. I then rolled every so gracefully out of bed at 9:30ish. I let them stay up until 11:30p and I think I stayed up until 1a, but I wasn’t really looking at the clock.
I have no plans for today except the dinner this evening. I may attempt to pick up the living room, but that is really just a notion and not even a thought as of right now…haha
Apie - if you’re strong enough to pick up your living room, you can clean it by shaking it out in your back yard.
what? I’m tired and my sinuses hurt. it’s the best I could come up with.
We swiped The General’s N.O.L. I got an especially <snerk>worthy fortune:
YOU WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUCCESSFUL IN ALL YOUR ENDEAVORS
Have at it!
I’ve been informed that nappage needs to ensue.
