Which means all the mumpers are invited for turkey dinner & to check out new countertops.
Sorry, I can’t make it; I’ll be busy entertaining 3-4 million close friends & associates.
As far as I can tell, MMPers aren’t terribly bothered by TMI.
Hope you find a solution that works for you. UTIs are a pain. I only suggested cranberry because it works well for me.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ YAWN 'Tis 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 and dry, dry, dry. Apparently the weather thinks it’s still Summer.
Seanette (we gotta work on a nickname) that sucks about DH but at least y’all have time to plan.
Welcome Apes! We thrive on TMI.
Yay for future new countertops MOOOOOOM!
{{{StickyBuns}}} hope whatever it is is better today.
Tao pumpkin pie Pop Tarts can produce pumpkin pie farts.
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.
Happy Firday Y’all!
In appropriate yet public situations, I’ve taken to saying “Feather Plucker!” in an appropriately angry voice

Just dropping in to announce that Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts are great. They’re a limited edition flavor for the Halloween season. So buy a box or two now while you can.

THANK YOU! I thought I was hallucinating when I saw a box of those last year, and the next day, the store had none, nor did they have a marked spot on the shelf for them.

You might not have wanted to say that, considering the size and recent activities of a cyst in an unfortunate location on my anatomy.:eek::mad:
:rolleyes::eek::mad: indeed, gotti!
Well, fantastic. Because I think my mouth is permanently set to TMI and I have yet to figure out how to change the dial, and I think some of it works it way to my fingers when I type. Weird how that happens, LOL.
Another great side effect from my UTI is how my stomach reacts to antibiotics! Let’s just say I spent an hour last night running to and from the bathroom. So much so that my husband gave up his side of the bed to me because his is closer to the bathroom and I wouldn’t have to crawl over him or stumble around the bed to get to it. Plus while I was on the toilet DH brought me Tylenol and Imodium. *Now that is true love. *
My mother is a pediatric nurse, I worked in pharmacy, and I used to watch the surgery channel for fun. Try me.
Up, caffeinated, off to irk.
You have both a growin’ and active cyst gotti? One wonders just what activities a cyst might get up to.
What a loverly topic of conversation for N.O.L. which I am about to go consume. BBQ chikin wings and pimento cheese sammich. YUM!
Spoiler tags are MY friend. That’s a bit more TMI than those of us with delicate stomachs can handle.
I’m having spoon ring day. Rah. And also blurf.
I haven’t eaten since I have been up. This new med I am on, Adipex, makes me not even think about food so I have to remind myself to eat.
Now that I have been reminded it is about lunch time here in the Central Time Zone, I think I am going to make a tomato sandwich on Italian bread. I have no bacon, so alas, it will not be a BLT…le sigh
I love that I irk from home, I have been doing this for about 4 months now and I Lurve IT! I eat lunch whenever I want to, wake up between 8 and 9pm most days M-F, I get all bank holidays off as a freebee because I work with bankers (and still get paid for them), and I can wear pjs or sweats if I am not meeting with a client or on a video conference call (and even on the video calls I can still be wearing my pj bottms, no one would know, hehe )
Now ThAT is the job I want! I have always had a quite up-to-date computer set up, me and the Mr. are both computer geeks, I type fast, I multi-task well, I’m great with professional communications both verbal and written, and I’ve plenty of experience using multiple programs at once, data entry and analysis, etc. I’m also living in an area with limited jobs for ANYONE, and without an autonomous car. We do have a vehicle, but MrTao needs it to get to work, plus needs it AT work at least 2 or 3 times a week.
WHERE’S MY WORK FROM PJs JOB?!
Probably the same place as mine.
Thing is, the Director of HR and all below him are all in favor of telecommuting. It’s the VEEPs and Sr VPs that are against it for us bottom rungers. It’s like ‘Wall Street vs Everyone’, except with technology.
I work sales, so the trade off is major rejection, job insecurity if you don’t meet your quotas, and you have to do a lot of leg work through phone calls, emails, or in person visits to get an account signed. But since the majority of that can be done from home or a short drive from home all I am required to do is meet my goals and make my clients happy and my boss doesn’t concern himself with what I do with every second of my day. Unlike when I have had office jobs and my supervisors seemed to only feel they were doing their job if they micro managed and questioned our every move. I love my boss, he is super good at his job and shows us sales reps respect.
On a side note, right now while I am working I am watching Anime in my Disney PJs and AFI band shirt and surfing the web…did I say I loved my job? (Don’t mean to brag, but this is the first job I have actually enjoyed since I was 16) I still get my work done but don’t have the same stress levels I have had at other places.
I do have the added stress of currently being in my last semester in grad school though. I am so ready to just get my degree and run!
Very nice, Apes! I’ve done data analysis for sales, but the sales itself? Unfortunately, not my cuup of tea, even in my jammies 70 percent of the time.
My favorite regular flavor of Pop Tarts is grape, which is really hard to find. So I’ve gotten used to checking the Pop Tart aisle to see if they have any boxes of grape for sale (usually no). I guess now I can look for grape or pumpkin.
I am just about to eat a Cookies and Cream pop tart, my favorite, as soon as I finish posting this.
I’m also having a colossal pity party right now. That’s kind of a problem with making spoon rings, it’s a mindless activity. Blurfity blurf blurf.
I will keep my eyes peeled Not sure I’ve EVER seen grape, but now it sounds yummy!
Brined chicken is in da oven; basting it with a bunch of stuff, most importantly the leftover bacon grease. We’ll see how THAT turns out, lol.
I think I would have to be paid or starving to eat a poptart, I just can’t stomach the sweetness. I have had the unfrosted kind, but nobody but weirdos like me eat those. It is basically jelly filled cardboard without the frosting.
I’ma having cheesy mixed veggies
