Yeah, what Frylock said. My purpose in posting to this thread in the first place was to voice my opinion that it not be shut down, because I felt it was important to be able to discuss it/figure out what was going on/etc. In the end that is what happened, and it worked out very much for the best. If we hadn’t gotten to hear the end of the story I think many of us would have lost respect for BarnOwl and actively disliked him due only to what we saw in the other thread–as it is most of us now realize that it was a one-time thing and don’t hold it against him. That would not be the case had the thread been closed at the beginning.

I might suggest that FarmerChicke try to read for comprehension next time.

Agreed. When I read the thread that prompted all this, I was just thinking “WTF? BarnOwl has a history, and it’s not a bad one, and what’s the deal?”

So I’m happy to have been able to see a resolution to this.

I have a prediction for this thread.

1. There will be a couple silly posts.

2. Then someone new will come along and make a comment without realizing that it’s all over and step on someone else’s toes and then there will be some back and forth griping until someone points out that the whole thing was resolved and can’t we all just get along.

3. Then there will be more apologies, silliness then back to step 2.
   Unless a nice mod will have mercy and close the thread because it’s stuck on a recursive loop.
   By the way, sharks don’t suck blood they mostly make it appear and then swim around in it a lot. They’re looking for the fleshy, crunchy bits.

Everything is cool with me and BarnOwl, and I’m enjoying my vacation Rothenburg. Going to sit in on drums with my friend Peter’s band, Time Out tonight and probably get stinking drunk on BIER in the process.

Had some misadventures, which are listed on my blog if you’re interested. Don’t know if any of what happened is AD-related or not. Maybe y’all can see what you think.

BTW, my outburst may have been the result of steroids. At the time of my blow up, I was down to 35 mg/day.

At the moment, I’m on 30 mg of prednisone daily. Started st 40 mg several weeks ago, and lately my pulmotry to plead innocent has been weaning me from it 5mg a week.

I sorta knew this was what caused it but I kinda hated to plead innocent due to drugs. It can make you a little crazy.

Every 3 weeks (on Wednesdays) I get an infusion of Alimta, and on the day before, the day of, and the day after, I take another steroid - but i don’t take the Prednisone.
