I was watching House last night, and that dasterdly Doc did it again! He caught me off guard with a well timed slight that only the writers of that show would have thought up…I wonder how much, if any, content control Hugh Laurie has in writing the scripts for that show…He seems like the kind of actor who would get a kick out of what he is doing…

Anyway - he’s talking to Cutty at her door, or was it in the cafe - and he is chiding her on her dating acumen when he says…something to the tune of , " You mean you didn’t find him at Wiccan needs a daddy figure dot com??" :eek: :smiley:

Having a few members of my fam who are devout wiccan’s I got quite a kick out of it! So what did I do next? I called my wiccan brethren in Vermont and one was watching and she knew I was calling when I called…she even picked up the phone - ‘What Phil? I knew you would call after that’ – click.
Anyway I thought it was funny - Anyone else catch that phrase?

Yeah, I liked it too. I was wondering what the first word was though, because I haven’t seen any indication that Cuddy is Wiccan. Seems like something House would make fun of a lot more.

I’m pretty sure Cuddy is Jewish (or I at least remember a J-date joke), he used Wiccan to hopefully weird her date out.
