Will This Be The MMP

I hope your friend’s husband is okay, Buns. Well, I know he’s not completely okay, but I hope it’s nothing really serious.

Hey everyone - the week is half-way over, thankfully. Today was a big queasy day for me–medicine-induced, unfortunately, but I think I’ll be able to deal.

Great to see you return, Sean, and hope all is doing well with you.

Keeping your friend in my prayers, Sticky!

Yesterday, I stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things. I got to joking with the man in front of me inline and he ended up paying for my odd assortment of food items (sugar free chocolate pudding, some deli shaved swiss cheese). I protested, but not too loudly–it wasn’t that much anyways, but what a nice thing to do.

Two more days!

I know I’m forgetting -a lot- of stuff, so … Rosie’s sig to any and all.

StickyBuns good thoughts and prayers headed out to SockLady Hubby.

Herbs you checkout line hussy you! :stuck_out_tongue:

I watched Hot In Cleveland. I gotta quit listenin’ to tv hype. Meh.

[Cheers]Sean![/Cheers]

I guess I’m back to being the mimeographed flyer child of straight middle aged white guys.:(

{{{{{{Sticky}}}}}

Enjoy the cruise, MMoooooooommmm!!!

Market day tomorrow. Here’s hoping for NO MORE DAMN WATER FROM THE SKY! Chile need money!

Ok, just as I was about to close my eyes and go to sleep I saw that SockLady was online. We briefly chatted via email and she said that he had the symptoms of a stroke, which he has had one in the past, and that all the tests that they have done so far seemed to come out ok. Tomorrow they’re scheduling an MRI.

So now I’m really going to go to bed. Thanks for all the good thoughts. She doesn’t really understand how messageboards work, but she knows what I mean when I say that my “invisible friends” are sending the two of them good thoughts and praying for them.

:does anti-rain dance:

Can you do the anti-rain dance with appendages crossed?

I just got yet another “we need a consultant” request written by someone who wants a Mercedes for the price of a bicicle. It’s SO nice being able to click that “Delete” button!

Yay! The poster boy’s back! Good to see you, Sean.

Hope your friend’s husband is ok, Buns.

:attempts to do anti-rain dance with appendages crossed, fails miserably:

‘im indoors is having his interview now, I think. I can’t remember if continental Europe is still an hour ahead of us for summer time, or if they abandoned that idea. So his interview is now, or in an hour’s time. Anyway, he made it safely to Belgium despite Virgin trains’ best efforts to prevent him making the Eurostar on time.

Hopefully, in celebratory mood, I will be doing the happy dance for him tonight while I’m watching Anvil at the Wolves Civic tonight. May have friends coming to see them with me, may be going on my own, won’t know that until later either.

Today will largely involve a brief team meeting and then I get to invigilate rotational exams for the 2nd year med students. Bah. You probably know how much I love rotational exams…

Yes, we are still one hour ahead of you guys. For some reason we don’t all go into summer time and back at the same dates, but that’s just another piece of idjicity. When I’m [del]queen of the world[/del] Head Henchwoman In Charge Of Measurements, I’ll do away with winter-time-hours altogether, dagnabit!

We do know you love watching med students scratch their heads in confusion, of course.

I thought you were still an hour ahead of us, Nava, but every year there are rumblings about changing things so we don’t do BST changes until the Scots start complaining about having to send their kids to school in the dark all year. Beats me why we can’t all just change our clocks on the same day and have done with it, or just agree to not bother changing them at all.

You’re right, I love watching the poor little lambs get all confused. I was only supposed to be a reserve for the day but one of the girls has called in sick so I get to do the whole thing for a change. What fun. This time we have three groups of students in five rooms so there are 15 rooms in use and students either in them doing their exam questions, or waiting outside, or milling around looking petrified. Pointy stick to the fore!

Make sure the pointy stick is freshly sharpened boofae! And good luck for the other half’s interview as well!

Dad should be home tomorrow lunch time as long as his temperature stays down all day today  muchly good news there.

I am currently rejecting job applicants from our online recruiting application system. Wow there are some bad resumes out there…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ here.

Yay for dad’s progress mmmmmm’s! Great news!

Yay for the good news on socklady hubby Sticky Buns!

Anti-rain dance for you HotStuff!

Extra sharp pointy stick thoughts for BooFae and appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed for 'im indoors.

Blurf.

No TVCTPMO actions to report today, so far.

Up and off to irk.

Hey, sean!!!

Better stock up on a lot of gray clothes, taters, if you get the Lab, too. You won’t be able to wear either black or white anymore.

Mmmmmmmmmm, carrot cake! Mmmmmmmmmmm!

Hugs for sticky’s friends.

Made my reservations for next May’s Urp trip. My little sister works for Marriott so I can get her discount. Two five-start hotels for great deals. I’m stoked!

Got some sad news last night. My boy and his girl have split. They’ve been together for six years. At least they don’t have anything legal needing done. Still, I will worry about them, because that’s what mothers do.

Tupug

Good morning!

All is going well in the land of refurbishment engineering. We set our schedule “in stone” yesterday, and I think we can live with it.

Hugs and trout and chitlin’s - pass 'em around!

MWAH!

A friend named his kittens Puppy and Dog. Good Lord it just dawned on me - my friends are as goofy as I am!

I had a netfriend a while ago that was into show chickens. Her three were named Kay, Effie, and Cee.

When Missus Coder was a young lass, she had some friends had some friends who named their dog “Dioggi”. They told people it was a common italian name for a pet dog, and some fell for it.
