Will This Be The MMP???

The cleaning ladies have left. I am happy. I need to run the carpet cleaner in a few spots now that the thorough vacuuming has occurred, but I am very happy indeed to have my house cleaned. One of the hardest things about being disabled has been learning how to parcel out my spoons. House cleaning gets as few as possible, so that my family gets more. I’m even gradually working back up to small hikes, which is very exciting.

Pepper is fulfilling her mission in life. I was so tired today from picking up the house for the cleaners. It was walk time though. I looked at her and I did it. Yay Pepper and Yay me.

Pepper had her first vet check. She wasn’t sure about the strange people, but she was very brave. Not even a whimper when she got her shot.

I’m off to take my daughter to her doctor’s appointment, so I guess it’s a medical sort of day.

Butters yay for Lucky Louie and no more cancer!

ruble, your MIL uses the same phrase as my dad does.

What note(s) are painful to play now emily?

butters, Louie can be the honorary uncle to at least one of the new pups. :stuck_out_tongue:

Irk was slow today. Our weekend crew all took off for the holiday, so none of our usual reconciliations from them were waiting. Supper’s over, floor’s vaccuumed and laundry is in the dryer. Go me!

That has been my form as of late; declare my intentions Sunday afternoon.

At least around here oil and stone (as we call it) is announced in advance. And should I stray onto a fresh patch I just turn around in the first driveway (or yard for that matter) and find another route. Snakes be sneakier than that.

Yep! She was one tough old bird!

Well, Day 1 of Day 1’s was underwhelming due to three trucks being late. Which means joy of joys probably for my double tomorrow. Suddenly having to work using the phrase “Would you like fires with that?” doesn’t sound all that bad.

You’re planning to become a pyromaniac???

I’ve developed punkin wigs that will work with stems, so yay! I’m more than a third of a way done with my wig-making. It’s going a lot faster than I’d expected, which is good. I expect when I get to the last few dozen, I’ll be ready to be done. I’m hoping to get them to **Butters **before the end of August. Then I’ll get back to afghaning.

Work went a tad long. Last customer was a coupon lady. Back in the A.M.

She and Roomie bought a house in Maine. If you’ve read Lovecraft or Stepehn King, you can guess what happens next.

I tried that, but I got burned out quick.

How’s the finger, Midget?

I also posted this in the new dog thread I made. It’s pictures of Mauser a friend at the park posted to her Facebook account.

Anything involving the right-hand ring finger, though it’s not as bad as it was before. Still not 100% though. I have been practicing a little.

The beginning of the road was normal chip-&-seal, but as it went on, you could see they got lazier & lazier as the piles of stones got larger & larger & nothing in between. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of a race. I was doing 40 mph on that road a year earlier & was doing < 15 that night but still managed to wipe out. I did go to the SP barracks & filed a report but never followed up, as in hiring a lawyer.

Last I remember, she quit her job & was looking for a new one.

So you’re just a run of the mill maniac? :o

Ooooops — my Freudian Slip is showing. :o

I got a “content not available right now” thingy. Will try again later.

Or he could be more like me and not a fan of specialization -------- just generally nucking futs.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

Looks like a spammer resurrected an ancient MMP from 2006! I reported it, so it should be locked down soon. I hope.

Terrible night last night - I couldn’t fall asleep for ages, then I kept waking up. Gonna be a long day! And hot - they’re talking triple-digit heat index today. Not amused.

C’mon, autumn!!! Happy Tuesday anyway…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 73 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 89 and possible rain/tstorms/apocalypse this afternoon. Didn’t happen yestiddy so we shall see. This mornin’ I shall do some edgin’ and trimmin’ in da yahd which will not take long. Tomorrow is mowage. This afternoon I shall attend a funeral for a sweet lady at my church. She was ninety-five and had lived all over the world but settled “down home” when it was time to retire. I imagine it will be a well attended service. OYKW is swipin’ The General’s dindin bein’ as he has a gnawin’ and a cravin’. Works for me!

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. In just a little while I shall accomplish yahd irk and then purtify.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Blurf. Up early due to the least favorite part of my job- interviews. They shall commence around 0930 and probably go until noon at least. I am already tahred. This work thing is cutting into my sleep hours.

Everyone have a glorious day!

**Butters **- interviewing potential underlings in your office? I would think you’d be glad to get help, assuming you have good candidates…

Just finished the big, messy pile of stuff for my boss. Now on to smaller messy piles for others. Good times!

Up, dressed and getting ready for work. My tummy isn’t awake yet so I’m snagging a couple breakfast bars for later once I get to Da Jungle.

Your stomach doesn’t have a clock.
Happy Slurpee Day!
…& the palindromeic one at that!!!

Drank some coffee. Going to the family house today. Much to do.

I have finished my planned yahd irk for the day and am all showered and purtified. I am noshin’ on a strawberry yogurt with some sliced 'nanner. YUM!

It doesn’t? I’m sure mine is on a precision mechanism.
