Will This Be The New Year MMP?

red yay for the fixed prescription mess!

Gettin’ coldish outside. OYKW is in the boudoir watchin’ teevee. I shall go join him shortly.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Dinner was a tomato and beef broth blend with mushrooms and just lovely. I case anyone was wondering.

If there was a hunk of buttered baguette, I’m jealous.

So they are brining the roads, and the grocery stores have been looted of bread. Wintertime in the South. Dinner tonight is Asian BBQ chicken, with green tea ginger rice and stir fired bok choy, broccoli, and scallions, with mushroom ginger sauce. Drinking a Jade IPA

Swampy, you are so deliciously evil!

Red I don’t think he has had a hard cover text book ever. It’s kind of annoying when you are paying $100+ for a book. I know we are paying for the information but the books are so flimsy.

Howdy all! My IPad finally gave up the ghost so this is my first post from new to me Android tablet, i do not like chang at all. Not even a littke bit. I had a very bad irk day.Everyone and everything pissed me off. Here is hoping tomorrow is better. I am dubious though.

It was snowing here this morning, but not enough to stop the buses. Poor little chilluns.

And are you [del]saying[/del] implying that Bobbio supported the Tangerine Dream[sup]TM[/sup]? Well, I never!

I always have beer jealousy with you.

Why did you switch away from iPad? Just curious. I think you will pry mine from my cold, dead hands, but I’m just curious.

Had another knock down, drag out with 'Beamer. He dragged in his autism, we hate him, everyone hates him, he hates us, the class is too hard, he doesn’t want to, why does he have to, slammed doors, barricaded doors, and generally regressed 2 years or so. The final two assignments for the class are open-ended - hard for an autistic kid - and he just has decided they’re too hard. And we’re the Worst Parents in the World for making him do the work. We understand they are hard for him, which is why we’re helping him, but he is going to do them. I’ll tell you what, though, this is one of those months where I’m earning my paycheck as a special ed mom. What’s that? There’s no paycheck? Sonuva!

The cat peed on the bed again, so everything had to get pulled off and washed. My husband is asking if my mom will take this cat. I’m starting to wonder myself. She does it every time we go out of town. Granted we don’t do it that often, but I could have lived forever without cat urine on the bed.

I guess you could say today was a trying day chez moi.

Hope everyone had better Wednesdays.

The weather people are saying the S-word for tomorrow and Saturday. I hope it’s just a dusting; I don juana have to stay at irk overnight.

**Sunny **- have you tried putting the cat on urinary tract health food? We found that doing that and locking the bedroom door has protected our mattress. Except when we went on vacation - then we put a plastic tablecloth on the bed, and thankfully, he peed on that, but only once.

Bad night last night, tho I don’t know why. I kept waking up for no apparent reason. Luckily, I did fall back to sleep, so there’s that. Poor **FCD **isn’t feeling well and he doesn’t know what the problem is. No, he won’t go to the doctor. I gave up fighting that battle. So he naps a lot. Sometimes, there’s nothing you can do…

We’re threatened with light snow - probably less than an inch - overnight, followed by a cold weekend. The roads were being treated yesterday and I’m not expecting any issues tomorrow morning, apart from the usual cold, dark, don’t wanna be commuting issues.

Happy Thursday!!

Morning all! I am home from my Antipodean adventure, still sick but not as sick as I was. I’m also back at irk today and feeling somewhat irked about it all because I Don Twanna!

My head is all out of whack because of the change in timezones so I am very tired but it’s not even lunchtime yet. Not sure how I’m going to get through the afternoon but I’ll see if a few cups of tea will help.

Other than that, not much going on. I have a date with the sofa tonight, got nothing else planned so it’ll be dinner and a soaky bath then some sofa time and an early night. Hopefully I’ll sleep a bit better this time - last night I went to bed at 10pm after spending a good while yawning on the sofa, was wide awake almost immediately, slept until 3am, grumbled about being awake, slept a bit more until 5am, grumbled about being awake and then dozed until the alarm was due to go off.

I think the cats have forgiven us for the cattery experience although Ophie had the added trauma of a vet visit for her booster shots yesterday. I have told them no more cattery time until April but I don’t think they understand just how many Really Big Sleeps that is.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 39 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 63 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Rain comes in this evenin’, tomorrow, and possibly Sattidy. It will be a cold rain, not what the folks still without power need at this time. My friend has promised she will go stay at her daughter’s house if she does not get power restored today. I will follow-up to ensure this happens if needed.

{{{Sunny}}} just cause it sounds like you could use a hug.

{{{BooFae}}} hope you get feelin’ better soonest.

{{{Butters}}} here’s hopin’ for a better day today.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I shall purtify and take care of a few errands. I took some skettie sauce and meatballs outta da freezer for dindin tonight so dindin will be easy enough to make. Other than that, well, probably laundry.

Happy Thursday Y’all!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. It went down to 30 overnihgt. Closing shift tonight.

The National Weather Service has a Winter Storm Watch till 7 on Saturday, and is calling for 4-8 inches. Sorry

{{{{Sunny}}}} And they have good local beer in the PNW ,ya know.

{{{{Butters}}}}

Yesterday was 15 degrees with a wind chill of below F. Today is 15 degrees, but sunny and no wind (or less wind). More of the same tomorrow. Sattiday is going to get to a whole 20! and it may be warm enough to ride my red headed mare (Ariel, aka Miss A.). Sattiday I am meeting my Jewish friend Deborah at the Jewish deli in the Jewish neighborhood for a corned beef sammich. It’s about an hour’s drive so it better be an authentic corned beef sammich, not just some junk from the local deli.

Deborah proclaimed me an honorary Jew. She even taught me how to make latkes.

Howdy from the liberry. I just felt like postin’ from the liberry cause, well, why not.

Well, I would say more Kraftwerk or Tomito but ------------

(Yeah – I know – you meant politics. But I much prefer music to politics.
Snow should start around here just about any minute. May head in to work a little early to avoid the first flurries madness.

Apparently my former boss is back to work - upstairs where the mucky-mucks can watch him. No clue what he’s doing but he’s not my problem, so there’s that.

Been working on a crazy drawing this morning - it’s up to 9 pages and there’ll be at least 1 more before I’m done. I also learned and/or figured out a few other things, so it’s been productive. Time for a WaWa chef salad, since I didn’t feel like making a sammich this morning.

It’s dreary outside - looks from radar like ice and/or snow will be here soon. ick. C’mon spring!!!

That’s for you. 1-3 inches here.

:: Makes sure “NO SNOW” signs are firmly in place ::

Hope you feel better soon, BooFae!

{{{butters}}} (just cause you sound like you need one)

Went to my doctor’s appointment this morning. Pretty much everything went as expected and he re-upped my meds. While I was in the old town, I stopped in at my auto insurance agent’s office. I questioned why my rates went up when I dropped 50 miles a day off my commute. In the end, I told them that this was my last month with them and that I was going with one that gives me a group discount for car/renter’s through my employer. It’ll save a nice chunck of change every month.

On the way home, I saw about a dozen flakes of snow. It makes me glad I’m good with bread, milk and TP.

Sketties ‘n meatballs, sallit, and cheesey garlic bread have been ingested. I have been informed that due to the fact that a certain someone has a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for fried chikin we shall dine at Golden Corral tomorrow. That means I won’t have to make food. Whatever will I do with myself all day!

All this talk of French Toast emergency has kinda got me cravin’ French Toast. Maybe that and bacon will be brekkie Sattidy. Supposed to be cold and rainy so that sounds like a good time to make such comestibles.
