Will Trump Announce his run for 2024 on November 15th?

Trump said he had a “big” announcement to make on 11/15. He may announce he’s made a mistake and now plans to retire from politics, but I doubt it. Any chance he won’t announce he’s running for president in 2024?

Announce he’s made a mistake? He has a better chance of being pregnant. Of course he’s going to announce his candidacy because he thinks it will immunize him from indictment. The other possibility is
announcing his betrothal to Putin.

A reporter on mainstream TV said that his closest advisors have advised him to wait until after the New Year to announce… so that means it’s even more likely he will announce tomorrow. Shake that money maker!

Some Republicans have asked that he wait until the Georgia Senate election is finished in December.

Yes but he might think of this as a chance to stick it to McConnell. Deep down he doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the party numbers in the Senate other than having at least 34 to prevent conviction should he be in the White House again.

Yes, he will.

Biden was asked about a month ago about Trump running and Biden wisely said, “I would be very fortunate to run against him again.”

It’s true.

In spite of advice from those around him, and those in the Republican party (that he still thinks he controls), he will do what he thinks is best for him, and him alone. And since he has already stated he’s gonna make a big announcement he’s gotta come thru or risk losing face. As he is out of power there is no other “big” thing for him to announce, other than another run for the Presidency. Plus, he cannot stand-by while others are hogging-up the headlines and airwaves, especially DeSantimonious, and that the Dems are doing their mid-term victory laps on national TV, and they are crediting him for that. IMHO.

There’s always the possibility that he’s going to announce that he concedes the election that he lost.

Even bigger. He’ll announce the formation of the MAGA party and his candidacy as president.

< spit take on screen >

You betcha.

Run? Him? No, slouch, perhaps.

Very much this - no one is treating him right, and paying attention to him, except by being mean.

I wouldn’t rule this out either, if it put money in his pockets (spending the MAGA parties money AND taking it from the betrayers? Twofer!) but he’ll probably stay with the RNC to make them do all the work while he does the part he enjoys, rallies and getting sucked (up to).

Alternately, although far less likely, he could do a new big announcement about some new ‘proof’ that 2020 was stolen a la the much more quiet recently Pillow King, complete with sharpied charts and the like, but I don’t think that would stroke his ego enough.

“Big” to Trump could be something totally trivial to the rest of us like, maybe, his Twitter account has been unsuspended.

Well, there are actual dollar costs to him of announcing his candidacy now. So he does have a powerful incentive to find something else “big.”

If he could manage it, he’d love to announce “evidence” that Ron DeSantis is secretly supporting black people and Jewish people, and also is transgender. And is blood-brothers with Dr. Fauci.

But I don’t know if Trump can pull that off.

So…yeah, it’s probably 'I’m a candidate."

Probably “I’m going to announce my candidacy in two weeks. Send me money “

Form an organization and not name it after himself? That’s unpossible. It’ll be called the Trump Party and it’ll be the biggest, most tremendous party there’s ever been, very huge in terms of political, and it’s going to win more than any party that’s ever won.

In my hypothetical Trump is already cut off from the RNC so his new plan is to grift directly without giving the RNC their cut, then work a payoff to drop out from splitting the vote.

FWIW, he seems to have spent the day “retwuthing” memes about how great he is, most of them with a Trump 2024 theme.

I could see that, but don’t see any way for the last half to happen, I for one wouldn’t trust either side to stay bought.

Well now he can select Kari Lake as his VP - I hear she’ll have some extra time on her hands the next couple of years.
