Worst TV show of all time

Not sure it was the worst show ever, but *The Paula Poundstone Show *was cancelled after 1 episode. I thought it was horrible, and I *like *Paula Poundstone.

It’s hard to bet the one-episode wonders, but I’ll contribute Sheldon Leonard’s Big Eddie. Man, was that bad!

No commentary on the actual show, as I didn’t see it (all one episode of it) but in my opinion Paula Poundstone is always funnier when reacting to other people, as opposed to fronting her own material.

I believe there is an official answer to this question, Hello Larry. I liked the show only because I had a crush on Kim Richards.

When I was 10, Automan was the greatest show I’d every seen, except possibly for the Misfits of Science.

Street hawk was awesome too. I just watched an episode on Youtube. It hasn’t aged well…

I was just voicing my personal opinion. I had to put up with those shows when they were still current because my wife likes them. But now I make sure that they’re never on in the house while I’m in it.

You took my answer. I’ve heard Turn-On ran a pretty good second (ETA: which I now see has been mentioned).

I looked at a few Cop Rock videos on YouTube. Funny stuff, but I can’t imagine sitting through an entire episode.

I can beat that. I liked Small Wonder.

House of Payne

The name says it all.

I never watched The Man Show but I did see a couple of bits on youtube that were hilarious. One that I loved was set up in a shopping mall. They were getting people to sign a petition to End Worldwide Woman’s Suffrage.

I saw a Man Show segment on Youtube where they cut in line at a Star Wars premier where people had been living on line for weeks, it was awesome.

Seriously, these two posts go unchallenged? Parks and Recreation is probably the best comedy on air right now, with the possible exception of Community. How you can say it is the worst series of all time is completely beyond me, especially when Outsourced, quite possibly the actual worst series of all time, airs the same night on the same network.

I can’t tell, are you guys serious? This is like saying Mad Men and Breaking Bad are not only the worst shows on AMC, but the worst shows currently airing. Your opinions are objectively wrong by almost any measure, compromising your credibility on all things pop culture, and I say this as a ravingly rabid Final Fantasy IV fan.

Say what? That just made me reset the value I give to any Emmy award to zero. Horrible, horrible show.

I watched a little of “Mad Men” and turned it off because it was uninteresting to me. I haven’t watched much “Breaking Bad” - I saw a bit, and it was too intense for me. I’m being perfectly serious - I think “Parks and Rec” is one of the worst things on tv. The episode I saw was wretched, in my opinion (and mine is the only one that counts when I have the remote in my hand  ).

This right here may be the issue.

Contrary to some people, I think there is A LOT of great television available right now, so I’m not going to waste much time on a show I saw a bit of and didn’t like. Life’s too short, man.

That one almost killed me. The Star Wars nerds were close to rioting.

Point taken. The Emmys are a joke.

Two and a Half Men is really not good, and I don’t know how it has managed to even be nominated for awards, much less win them. I’ve seen several episodes, and it’s all the same unfunny dreck. Tons of tired cliches, and hammy over-acting. I wouldn’t call it the worst TV show of all time by any means, but it’s not Emmy-worthy, IMO.
