Because apparently it’s a thing? You first, I guess-though if I get hungry enough…
Hard pass for me, and I’m someone who’ll drink cola as an accompaniment to pizza. I just don’t like sweet ingredients on a savory dish. I’m a no-pineapple-on-mine-please type.
Of course. The flavors sound like they would work fine. Coke marinated pork is a thing, so why not this?
Yeah, if they’re just putting some sort of Pepsi product in the sausage itself, it’ll be pretty subtle at best, and imperceptible at worst.
Pizza topped with Pepsi-flavored pepperoni shaped like little Pepsi logos sounds like something that belongs at Chuck E. Cheese.
Is nothing sacred … nothing at all?! ![]()
I’d try a slice. I’m not sure I’d buy a whole pie blindly, unless a friend recommended it.
I wonder if the Coke guys are pounding on the table, angry that they’ve been scooped on this idea.
“I’ve just had a brainstorm! Coke-cream! Ice cream with all the delicious flavor of Coke!”"
My brother tries all sorts of weird ice cream flavors. Last time he texted me a picture of some mac & cheese ice cream that he scarfed down with some Flaming Hot Mountain Dew. I had a few bites of the “everything bagel” (including onions and garlic) ice cream last time I was over at his house. I seem to recall a pizza ice cream brand, as well. The first and last were Van Leeuwen brand, and the bagel one was Jeni’s.
Shakes fist at the pictures
They’re only doing so they can sound hip and with-it by using the word “collab” in the press release.
I’d try it, and I don’t like colas generally.
I’d definitely be interested in trying it out. I’ve always been the type of person to want to try out foods, and this does sound like it could work.
If only GERD didn’t ruin my ability to eat fatty foods.
Sure, why not? It might be a little weird, but the nice thing is, even if it made the pepperoni taste like absolute garbage, it’s no trouble to just pick the pepperoni off and enjoy a nice slice of cheese pizza.
