To be honest, I’m slightly embarrassed to be back, as I first joined when I was an 18-year-old freshman college student, with all of the poor posting judgment that entails. Thank god I’m now a clever grown-up with worldly experience and <i>excellent</i> judgment! Phew!
I’ve graduated and am living in London, working as a magazine sub-editor by day and playing Irish/Scottish traditional music in pubs by night. Mostly. Some times I just sit at home and watch Doctor Who, or sleep, but not usually.

I remember some of the unsubscribed posters in here (Frodo, Mauvaise, Tracy Lord and Twisty specifically). It’s good to see the old “guests” get to post again, in this and other threads.
In regards to Tracy’s post about posting as an immature college freshman, believe me, I can relate. The great thing about the 'Dope, however, is that simply lurking here has helped me mature into a more logical and forward-thinking person. So, I guess (some) ignorance was fought on this front.
Anyway, just posting because I can. Howdy, y’all!

It could be just me, but I guess that most of us non-subscribers are long-time lurkers. Myself, I’ve been here pretty much daily since sometime in '01 or '02.
