Trolling is, indeed, illegal in the Pit. The problem is, what does trolling mean in a forum specifically dedicated to calling each other dickheads? The most common form of trolling is posting something inflammatory in order to spark a fight. But that’s what the Pit is for. So, by necessity, we use a more restricted definition of trolling for the BBQ Pit, the essential component of which is that the suspected troll must be clearly posting in bad faith - that is, presenting a view he doesn’t actually hold, simply because he knows it will create controversy. It’s a very difficult standard to prove, and I tend to err on the side of caution by taking most posters here at face value. In this case, for example, I’m willing to believe that Le Jaquelope is presenting ideas he holds in earnest. His eagerness to fight over those ideas is not a rules violation, so long as he keeps it to the Pit.
Part of liberation is not having to be concerned with what paleolithic knuckle dragging anachronisms like you define as manly or feminine.
The problem with this thread is that it demonstrates how scared women are of guys having more freedom from ancient and out of data gender rules. It detracts from a woman’s concept of absolute monopoly on the struggle for freedom. Women always think the world is out to get them and cannot stand to imagine that the world is hard on everyone. In fact, just saying that is going to send you guys and gals into an even bigger frenzy! Oh, but you call telling the truth “trolling” - which makes it even more fun to watch you go into another frothing fit.
Women want to be free of gender rules, but they absolutely loathe men who pursue the same freedoms. And many men hate men who are, unlike them, not intimidated by these rules. That is the ENTIRE theme of this thread.
