Yet Another Desktop Screenshot Thread

Here you go.

I made the wallpaper myself, it’s not that good. :o

My desktop

I stole the pic from Flickr. Sorry if it’s yours. I’ve never claimed it as mine. Just liked it a lot.

I’m using a version of the image of Akron over Manhattan for my background these days.

100 squid kisses for anyone who recognizes the featured creature:

And at work, I can’t find the image right now, but it’s an orange squid that says ‘‘Free Hugs.’’

Baby Ohmu!

Here’s mine.

Nothing too exciting. Usually it’s messier than that, but I recently reformatted and reinstalled…

I’m surprised at how many Windows users are apparently not using ClearType. CRT monitors, or just don’t like ClearType?

I love my orange eft. I wish I could remember where I got him. I think he’s *technically *a “red eft” even though he’s orange.

Thanks for prompting a clean up of the desktop. Mine is from a photo I took myself and toned down a bit for wallpaper duty.

What’s ClearType?

Here’s mine. Yes I have a lot of icons.

It’s a setting that makes everything look like it’s in bold. Supposed to be easier on the eyes, I think.

Brace yourself! Here comes Mariah!

Do you want to know how long I stared at your screen capture, waiting for it to change? :smack:

LOL… when it is a jpg screen capture it changes very slowly indeed.

I like simplicity.

Just don’t like ClearType. Looks weird to me…

Joe

Here’s mine.

Mine’s a bit wider on the sides with the Black, but here’s the general image that I use.

Nerdy and Spiritual at the same time! Enjoy!

I’m too ashamed to post mine. I was encouraged at first by the people who said theirs were “messy”…until I looked at them. Mine is a nightmare. A horror file on top of file on top of folder. It made our IT guy yell Jesus Christ! when he looked at it. It makes children weep and dogs howl in terror.

OK, after all that, I can’t not post it. Here it is. You’ve been warned.

Mine has a picture of my cat.

Here it is.
