Only hours away from my night out with Michi!!! Sorry Dopers but this is a private party
So what do you guys think we should do? We will probably see a movie, she likes movies. Anyone seen a good one lately? None of the previews I have seen lately have been too good. There are a few good iMax movies out, but they give her motion sickness. (oops, was that a secret? -hope not)
Later, a bar I know is having a Live Band. I forget who is playing, but supposedly they are pretty big. (Big for a small time band anyway). Not sure if she is into that though. Or if she even drinks. If not, she would be the first Doper in history to turn down FREE liquor. I am sure she will answer here.
Ok everyone, send me your questions, comments, ADVICE, rants of jealousy, etc. etc… maybe even a pep talk, pat on the back or Attaboy…

Anyway, Bear, I just checked Moviephone, and these are some movies that I’d like to see: The Watcher, Urban Legend, Almost Famous, Highlander, Coyote Ugly, and Bless the Child.
We have suspense, horror, comedy, action. Hopefully you’ll be interested in at least one of those! Times range from 5:20 to 10 PM.
Will there be food involved in this evening’s plans? If so, I was thinking we could eat at Bennigan’s and then walk over to Veteran’s Expressway for the movie. Just a thought.
Seeing a band at a bar sounds good to me. I actually am one of those rare creatures that doesn’t drink alcohol though. Maybe a Buttery Nipple or two, but that’s about it!

Also, are you really closer to Verterans? I thought you lived near me, which would make Movico Closer. Doesn’t really matter to me, they both have a restaurant in walking distance, and I go to Veterans a lot anyway.

Is Muvico an AMC theater? I like AMC because I have a MovieWatcher card, and they give student discounts. But, The Watcher sounds good! Can we meet at Bennigan’s and have dinner first?

Bear, first I tried sending you an e-postcard to thank you for the evening out, and it got returned to me, then I tried to post a message here thanking you, and my computer caught a virus that changed anything I typed into a string of obscenities. It seems that the third time is the charm! (I am temporarily using my friend’s computer and account).
If you ever want to go out again, give me a call. Any time during the week is fine with me. Next time, it’s on me, OK?
