Assuming you have a weekend and can pretty much do anything, what would your ideal weekend look like?
So - no kids around, no work obligations, no repairs/cleaning to do around the home, a couple bucks in your pocket* - what would be your ideal weekend?
Maybe this one. Nothing planned, after I get a little work out of the way. Probably going to spend time outside, put the new blade on my bandsaw, head out to the bar tonight, watch football tomorrow.
We’d spend the days drinking screwing and sleeping and each evening go out to a very nice restaurant.
Mmmmmm boy. Sleep in late, run baby-free errands in the morning while my husband watches the squirt, spend the afternoon cooking and lazing around, then go out for dinner and a drink (apparently we have a baby sitter in my fantasy). On Sunday, a little bit of yard work, then football and homemade soft pretzels and cheese sauce and beer.
Tell us your soft pretzel recipe. The one I us is pretty good, but I’m looking for something that gets that thick doughy Philly push cart result.

Outdoor music festival! With a camp site and a good group of friends and plenty of booze.
Pretty much a copy of zoid’s post. I’d take my current fling/FWB (and some assorted fun devices) off to a 5-star hotel and spend the weekend in bed, getting out only to wash up or go to fine restaurants. We’re both frustrated that our trysts only get to be a few hours here and there, and we’d like to have the chance to have a more relaxed, even lazy weekend to explore each other.
If it was just myself, I’d really like to go back up to New Hampshire and spend the weekend at a B&B, visiting some of my favorite sites (including the American Classic Arcade Museum).
I’m going to assume that my health at the time is up to it.
I’d love to go back and visit the Peabody Museum.
Ideally, a good science fiction convention.
