Somewhere, for $3, I found a DVD titled “Angel of Death.” If it hadn’t starred Mira Sorvino, I wouldn’t have bothered buying it. And if you’re not into her or Olivier whatshisname from “Unfaithful,” I wouldn’t recommend the movie.
But man, she is ALL THAT! It’s worth $3 just to look at her legs…she wears a skirt through much if not all of the movie, and can I get an amen? Really, though, her beauty is in her face.
Someday she’ll be 800 years old and still be beautiful, I think.
This of course prompted me to consult imdb, wikipedia, etc. Weird little facts: she’s Paul Sorvino’s daughter, but I already knew that. I didn’t know, however, that she’s fluent in Mandarin and French. And she’s 5’10"…well that explains the legs, doesn’t it?

Hannah O’Irishlastname. The bar tender at the little dive that’s a mere drunken stumble away. I’ve never been there before but wandered over for some wings and a few pints this evening. She’s been in Canada for 8 years, just moved here from Vancouver on Monday, started working there on Wednesday and she’s dating the ‘free energy, conspriacy theory guy’ that showed up after I had my first pint and wings. Lovely accent and beautiful smile. I decided to have a few pints and listen to all kinds of theories about free energy. An entertaining evening for sure.
There is a customer that comes into the store occasionally, and I have not yet had the opportunity to strike up a conversation with her. Very frustrating. So, very much my “type” you could say, and she really pings on my gaydar. I just hope she isn’t taken.
My office is pretty strict on recycling, but the bin was full. So I’m standing there with an empty can of Coke when Susan bends over to pick something up and without thinking about it I crushed that can down right there on her hiney. Didn’t want it to roll off the top onto the floor from the recycle bin.
A woman I work with. She is in sales and travels, therefore is only at our office on rare occasion. The last time she was in I ran into her in the lobby. She stopped me and mentioned that she noticed that I wasn’t at my desk when she came in the previous day and she wondered if I still worked there. So not only does she remember me but conspicuously noted my absence.
I almost blurted out “I love you” right then and there, and in hindsight it may not have been such a bad idea. Instead I muttered something barely intelligible, shook her hand and went back to work with a smile plastered on my face for the entire day.
The past couple of weeks, I’ve been crushing on Rachel Maddow. Gah! She’s intelligent, well-informed, kinda geeky, kinda butch, and way liberal. Swoon! I only wish she wasn’t wearing so much eye makeup on MSNBC lately. But now that I think about it, that only makes those pics where she’s got little to no makeup, wearing glasses, jeans-tshirt-trainers all the more alluring.
Recently enchanted with Anne Hathaway. Way too young and completely out of my league, but hey, what’s the point of a crush that CAN be acted on anyway?
A woman I met in Denver at Worldcon. Intelligent, observant, successful, witty, nice looking, but when she smiled at me, I lost my place. Talked to her and her friend for a couple of hours, went back to my room, and had the first dream I have remember in 14 years, about that smile. Been 2 weeks since I saw her and I still can’t get that smile out of my head.
There is one lady I work with who is amazingly attractive that I’ve had a steady crush on for the past 6 years. I can’t say any more about who she is or what she does here, but my heart just melts at the sight of her and her voice literally make my ears orgasm.
My latest celebrity crush is Julia Stiles, after seeing her in The Bourne * movies. Her smiles makes me feel all funny inside.
I moved to a new city for a new job and I’m living with a friend right now till I can get a new place, and I’m totally crushing on her. She’s got a boyfriend, and has never had any interest in me whatsoever before, so there’s like no chance of anything. But damn she is cute.
Mira Sorvino is pretty nice in person and is a kind of a Star Trek geek.
A good friend of mine was a manager at a theatre in NYC and she was coming for a premier. It was the State theatre that used to be in the sub-basement of the Virgin Megastore in Times Square. He brought into the theatre via a back entrance/service elevator. So they get in the elevator together, (alone with Mira Sorvino!) and when the doors close she just looks up and says ‘Bridge’. And she didn’t even know my friend was a Trek Geek.
I was going to come in here to post…before I realized that I didn’t remember. Not completely—I think she was someone I saw on the internet, and within the last few weeks. But I just don’t know for sure.
