Your lunch today

Pastrami on rye with cole slaw and thousand island dressing*, side of fries, and fried mushroom appetizer, with sweet tea, and a cute, called-me-“honey” waitress.

*Apparently, this can be called a Rachel or a Philadelphia, depending on where you get it. Where I got it called it the latter.

ETA: I am, obviously, the anti-Sigmagirl.

Fruit salad and whole wheat bread. Breakfast was oatmeal with raisins.

I’m being very healthy today. Dinner will be some type of pasta/veggie/cheese dish, followed by the rest of the fruit salad with frozen yoghurt.

Beef noodle soup. The frozen kind you get in the market that you have to add water to and then microwave. Good stuff

Chicken and cheese tamale - delicious!
Chinese BBQ pork & seeds with hot mustard - delicious and it cleared my sinuses.
2 Arizona black and white iced teas - I didn’t think these had a lot of caffeine but I’m a little juiced up this afternoon.

Sweet Tomatoes - a soup and salad bar that has the best cream of mushroom soup. Mmm.

Lean Cuisine “cheddar potatoes & broccoli”, and a “lite” yogurt.

Gimme those mushrooms. Now.

Sowwy, aw gone!

I cud haz 2 double cheezburgers for $4 at Dairy Queen with a coupon, plus it’s Tuesday, so you can get 2 plain burgers for $2 even with the coupon deal. I haz one of each and so did my dad.

DQ burgers need to be greasier. We have this meat done-ness law where every burger has to be gang-cooked in a big tray till they turn to rubber.

Oh well. Friez n pepzy too.

I had the same thing I eat each day: 1 grapefruit and 1 yoplait light yogurt.

I had chorizo and potato stew from the awesome food market that takes place every Thursday and Friday on Whitecross Street. For any London Dopers who work or live in the area, there is some seriously good stuff on offer there.

That chicken soup I made last Saturday.

Yep. Still eatin’ it. (One more bowl left after this.)

Homemade spanakopita from the freezer and a salad with homemade yogurt dressing. I used .5 cup nonfat yogurt, one garlic clove, Penzey’s Greek seasoning, and drizzles of olive oil and red wine vinegar. It was awesome, and is what I’m having for lunch tomorrow and Sunday as well.

If you were, indeed, pregnant, you wouldn’t be an atheist for long!

My lunch: homemade hummus and a pita.

Leftover chicken ‘n’ dumplings from the America’s Test Kitchen cookbook.

NOM NOM NOM.
