Your MOST favourite....

The performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in front of the faery court in Sandman #19

Favorite new artist/writer/performer you recently discovered

Ed Sheeran. I know he’s been part of the music scene for several years but I only quite recently took note of his work.

Favorite comfort food

Shepherd’s pie.
Favorite vegetable you’ll gladly eat now, but that you hated as a kid?

Asparagus. I like it well enough as an adult that I planted about a dozen crowns of it in my own garden about 12-14 years ago and I’ve been enjoying it every year since. One of the few perennial vegetables out there.
Favorite movie monster

The xenomorph from *Alien *etc.

Favorite soft-‘n’-fuzzy fictional movie critter?

Chewie. There might be cuter and fluffier ones out there, but how many are that cool?

Favorite hors d’oeuvres

Shrimp cocktail.

Favorite hat style?

Classic Fedora.
Favorite old-school video game.

Defender. It was challenging, and imaginatively conceived and executed. Yes, I became an expert on it pretty quickly, could get dozens of extra ships after playing on one quarter for a few hours.
Favorite fantasy computer RPG

Do the Nancy Drew mysteries count? I was an adult, but I loved those. They were actually pretty challenging (you could put the on three different settings, and the most challenging was pretty tough even for an adult).

If “fantasy” has to be either space or swords and sorcerers, then I don’t have one. I played lots of them on Nintendo, Playstation and XBox, but not the PC.

Oregon Trail gets an honorable mention.
If that answer counts, then favorite channel on your TV you pay for. If not, then it’s still in play.

BBC America

R. Crumb’s Mickey goes down on Minnie. That he got sued for.
Your favorite SNL president.

Alec Baldwin as President Trump. Baldwin has the mannerisms, speech, and so on, down pat.

“Beth.” It almost doesn’t sound like it’s theirs, which might have something to do with my liking of it.
