Zimmerman makes the news again.

I’m sure he was out hunting children when he found the overturned truck. No doubt it had some sort of marking which indicated it might contain minorities, maybe an Oakland Raider’s license plate frame? Fish in a barrel, my friend. Fish in a barrel.

The guy doesn’t call a news conference or even tells his attorney. He just helps a family get out of a wrecked car and quietly goes home. Class.

Getting out of his car (against dispatcher advice) & following TM sounds more like “Advance your ground” than “Stand your ground” to me. While it may have been legal in FL, his actions definitely escalated the situation to the point where he needed to defend himself.
There was a time that Prohibition was thought to be a good law, too.

Ms. Jenteal found a job with the AP already - that’s impressive.

… too soon?

Shouldn’t he have? According to posters here we must never get involved, make one call with our cellphone and head to Starbucks. Leave the bad stuff for the police. The rule is: never help anyone.

911 call reporting the car wreck and asking for assistance. Not Zimmerman calling, but CNN reporters briefly discusses the story.

He’s a hero! Superhero, even. Last year he rids his neighborhood of a thug/ burglar. This year he rescues a family from a burning vehicle. Can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for Captain Zim, Superhero.

A hero twice. Once for saving someone’s life, his own, from a brutal thug, and now this. Should give him a medal.

Didn’t you listen to the trial? The dispatcher never told him to get out of his vehicle. How could he? Zimmerman was already out of his vehicle when the dispatcher suggested he not follow. Than the wind noise stopped, no heavy breathing, just a casual conversation with the dispatcher, indicating Zimmerman was just standing in one place. There were two hidden minutes . after the phone call ended, before the confrontation, but multiple witnesses claim the confrontation begin west of the T, than moved south. Zimmerman said he was returning to his vehicle, which would have been mere seconds away, if the witnesses were correct. not minutes away, if he was chasing after Trayvon. There never was any evidence presented that Zimmerman continued to follow Martin, just speculation. .

I laughed.

The people who George Zimmerman rescued are now scared for their safety, thinking the mindless rabble will attack them for having anything to do with Zimmerman, even if George potentially saved their lives, since an overturned vehicle can leak gas and catch on fire.

Ok, so they are idiots? is that the point of the article?

The threats are all to real. Even the Seminole County Sheriffs dept is receiving death threats.

A retired 78 year old minister (Zimmermann) is getting the same death threats. Some on his answering machine. Some idiot actually thinks the guy he hates is in the phonebook? And his name has an extra “N”. But he’s still being threatened.

I’ve never seen this level of hate and insanity before. People get acquitted after shootings every month and never get this kind of abuse. Social media has made it far worse than even OJ suffered.

78 year old Preacher Zimmermann (2 n’s) got this call.

Just wire Zimmerman at the Hotel Carlton in San Francisco.

Showing your age!

(As am I, by showing I get the reference.)

And of course now there are people claiming that the whole story was manufactured. Ain’t the internet wonderful?

Don’t know if you can mention another site, but on Talkleft they showed the outlay of the area. It took Trayvon 40 minutes to walk a distance of seven tenths of a mile, from the 7-11 to the development. Most people who tried it could walk it in ten to twelve minutes. if Trayvon had gone to the right, in his alleged return, instead of back, and to the left, to get to the mail area, George Zimmerman would likely have never seen him that evening. Why Trayvon would actually waste time to get to the mail thing if he was going home is problematic. It would have been almost as fast to go right and than south, and be home. It’s understandable why some people doubt Trayvon was returning home, but had something else in mind. Too many people are looking at this case with their own emotional baggage.

I meant the car crash story.

he visits the factory of his favorite firearm.
