Rightfully so, IMO. This week’s episode damn near made me pee.
When she was trying repeatedly to say “penis”, and failing in a different funny way every time? I was in tears.
When you divorce a Manic Pixie Dream Girl, who shows up to take her place? A Magical Negro?
This week had me crying but, I must say, Friends did the “I’ve seen your penis” thing first.
Yeah, I doubt the divorce will matter at all. Although, I like the fact that the angst might improve Deathcab’s next album.
Yeah, I think New Girl made a mistake in not reshooting the pilot with the new guy. But, I think it is starting to pick up steam. It was a funny episode this week. Plus, I like that they are willing to go over top for jokes. Like the confusingly ironic bartender that the one guy was dating. (Who is a funny actress in her own right, so I hope she comes back)
I was only vaguely aware that she was married in the first place.
Frankly, I don’t see how a someone’s divorce has much bearing on their show unless it’s co-stars that are married and then divorce like on Dexter or One Tree Hill.
The first article I looked up on “The New Girl’s” ratings noted that it beat “Glee” after coming back from the baseball playoffs. I thought “Glee” was a huge sensation, but “The New Girl” edged it out.
Many, many other new shows are being comparatively slaughtered. This show is sticking around for awhile.
Lake Bell, who set the internet on fire a couple weeks ago on How to Make it in America.
