Based on the previews, this episode should have been titled either “The Dingo Ate My Baby” or “Did You Get the Stuff, Man?” Maybe we’ll get a glimpse of what the Oceanic Army looks like. Anyone wanna bet that there isn’t a power struggle for who commands it?
From the ABC “Lost” site:
“Fire + Water” When Charlie’s vividly surreal dreams lead him to believe Claire’s baby, Aaron, is in danger, Locke suspects Charlie may be using again. Meanwhile, Sawyer encourages Hurley to act on his attraction to Libby.
Hmm. Interesting tidbits at Epguides.com in their episode guides for upcoming episodes. Nothing too spoilery, just bits about who each episode is centered around.
The next one, “The Long Con” is a Sawyer-centric episode and airs Feb. 8th. No description for this one.
Then comes “One Of Them” which is Sayid’s turn, but no episode description. This one airs the 15th.
Then comes one for Claire called “Maternity Leave.” It is also listed as airing Feb. 15th. It says it’s a Claire-centric episode, but the episode descripton says… Wait, I’ll put it in another spoiler box for the truly virginal…
Kinda spoilery thing:
"More insight on Sawyer’s life as a con man is revealed and Sawyer sets his sights on the recurring lottery girl who pulled out Hurley’s lottery numbers. "
Maybe Libby is the Lottery Girl? Interesting.
No. The lottery girl has been seen before. She is the real life wife of the guy that plays Michael. She was in Sawyer’s hotel room when the T-1000 came to send him to Australia.
Who was Charlie’s mother supposed to be in that little tableau? I’m guessing that Claire = B.V.M., but Ma Meghan = ? And were there two birds, or only one? I saw the white dove - was there also a crow?
I think we’re going to find that Charlie has overprotective feelings for the baby because of something in his past regarding his brother’s baby (and his irresponsible brother).
