2023 NFL Draft Thread - Fair to middling

I’m inclined to think that a quarterback who can take a team to a superbowl is indeed worthy of a top 10 pick, but I guess there are different values of “take a team”. I mean, the Ravens won a superbowl with Trent Dilfer.

So, touché, I guess.

Okay, I’ll stop pontificating. My off the cuff recollection was that he kept fumbling, and had a thumb injury.

If I’m Will Levis, I’m actually happy. The chance of having a good career improves if you go to a better organization that’s picking lower in the draft.

Woohoo! Bears trade back one spot. Wonder what the play is for the Eagles. Carter seems like a logical pick. Maybe Gonzales.

Will the Titans trade up for Levis? Someone else?

They just compared Bijan to LaDanian Tomlinson. Dude needs to be escorted off set immediately.

I am very upset that I generally like how the Bears under Poles, Eberflus, and Getsy handle their business.

The Lions WTF!?!?

Dan Campbell just head butted a wall…I’m sure of it.

ETA: in a good way.

The Bears picking Wright is a weird one. I’m glad they got a RT and I didn’t love Skoronski for us. I saw Wright mocked to the Bears a handful or times and I also saw in mocked as low as pick 31. It’s a good fit but I hope he lives up to the draft spot and can stay healthy.

LOL, was really hoping the Packers would take JSN for the comedy.

Interesting. All the CBs except Witherspoon are still on the board.

Trade compensation update.

Wait you still get a wish if you’re cured?

A little surprised Washington didn’t trade back, given how it’s gone. Maybe they just loved Forbes. I don’t have a problem with his size at his position.

Starting to look like a team will need to come back in from the 2nd round to grab Levis unless the Lions or Bucs grab him here. I don’t think the Lions were ever a serious QB landing spot, the Bucs seem like a bit of a no brainer.

After that, the next spot would be the Vikings at 24 or the Saints at 30.

This is the crappy part of the 1st round. No one is trading up for anything but a QB. All the other premium guys are gone.

NLFN really needs to do something about that background noise. Can’t bear to listen to it.

Levis might drop out of the first round at this point.

Honestly, I’m not excited about him.

It pisses me off that my Dolphins lost their first round pick because their owner was stupid, and improperly tried to lure Tom Brady to the team.

(No! It’s about the future! We don’t seem some gimmick, dumbass)

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Where would they have been picking? Probably around right now I’m guessing?

They would have picked 21.

Really hope the Vikings don’t land Flowers.

Edit: I think Kiper tipped this pick by mistake a few minutes ago.

You got your wish! He’s going to Baltimore so that Lamar can throw to him.
