I’m inclined to think that a quarterback who can take a team to a superbowl is indeed worthy of a top 10 pick, but I guess there are different values of “take a team”. I mean, the Ravens won a superbowl with Trent Dilfer.
So, touché, I guess.
Okay, I’ll stop pontificating. My off the cuff recollection was that he kept fumbling, and had a thumb injury.
…
If I’m Will Levis, I’m actually happy. The chance of having a good career improves if you go to a better organization that’s picking lower in the draft.
The Bears picking Wright is a weird one. I’m glad they got a RT and I didn’t love Skoronski for us. I saw Wright mocked to the Bears a handful or times and I also saw in mocked as low as pick 31. It’s a good fit but I hope he lives up to the draft spot and can stay healthy.
A little surprised Washington didn’t trade back, given how it’s gone. Maybe they just loved Forbes. I don’t have a problem with his size at his position.
Starting to look like a team will need to come back in from the 2nd round to grab Levis unless the Lions or Bucs grab him here. I don’t think the Lions were ever a serious QB landing spot, the Bucs seem like a bit of a no brainer.
After that, the next spot would be the Vikings at 24 or the Saints at 30.
