6 January 2021; A Day worth a Thread

From the picture, I thought that was Rittenhouse.

A West Virginia state Delegate has identified himself as one of the rioters.

Not under? That’s a change.

I still want an explanation of how Pence authorized the DC National Guard. That’s not a power the VP has unless the President has been ruled incapacitated under the strictures of the 25th Amendment. And while I have no issue with Pence and the Cabinet removing Trump from power, even temporarily, under the 25th Amendment, America needs an explanation now that that’s what has happened. There has been hours of silence from the Cabinet and federal agencies and that should not be acceptable.

Not to hijack (very quick sidebar) this is easy to confirm. We have a current case in my state where two white boys (ok the kid who was killed had a Hispanic sounding name) robbed a convenience store. One white kid bailed out and absconded. The other kid got into it with cops later on and ended up getting shot and killed.

The white kid who left the robbery before any of the bad stuff really went down is being charged for homicide–for the death of his accomplice at the hands of the police. This is not a rare thing around here, either. This case is being debated as to when the accomplice stopped being involved in the crime, because in this case he was pretty uninvolved by the time police got involved.

Twitter locks Trump’s account for 12 hours and warns he could get kicked off permanently

One of the rioters is shown carrying zip ties. Looks like he was planning on taking hostages.

I’m listening to a call from Rep Markwayne Mullin on ABC news, and he basically said that their protests of the electoral college certification and them casting doubt on the election had nothing to do with it, but that because we’ve seen all the political violence from Antifa over the last 4 or 5 years… that’s where this stems from.

Senator Lummis, while being evacuated, said she doubted Trump supporters could be behind this, it’s somethign that sounds more like what Antifa does.

So… Trump stirs up a rally and tells them to storm the capitol building, and then they go do so… and yet… ANTIFA DID THIS.

Holy shit, you stupid, reality-denying, evil fucks. Antifa doesn’t even exist, and yet you blame them from everything, INCLUDING A DIRECT AND OBVIOUS COUP ATTEMPT AT THE COMMAND OF YOUR PRESIDENT THAT WE HAVE A COMPLETE CHAIN OF CUSTODY OF

Not to mention a interview on camera of some stupid kid wearing a trump hat saying that they were trump supporters. And the proud boys saying they were gonna dress like Antifa.

According to the Daily KOS, that was in the plans (such as they were):

Trump has not changed a bit. Everything that happened in the last 4 years has been obviously the exact same person we knew in 2015. Nothing is a surprise, nothing has changed, everything that has happened was very predictable and in fact has been widely predicted.

Republican Sen. Richard Burr: “The President bears responsibility for today’s events by promoting the unfounded conspiracy theories that have led to this point.”

Predicted here, too.

And how did he vote on impeachment, again?

Concur. This is of more significant (by an order of magnitude or two) than Trump’s Twitter account.

All we need now is for Kim Jong-Un to condemn the United States for it’s crumbling democracy. Donald’s love affair will be over.

@Cervaise, it’s a good thing you posted this to preserve Trump’s tweet, because now, a couple of hours later, I went to *5’s Twitter account and this and another tweet have been entirely removed.

Apologies if someone else has posted about this; I’m still trying to catch up with this thread.

Would that be part of the group that tried to take the governor of Michigan?

Foolish question, that.

We’ll see if she keeps up that line, especially when known Trumpists come out as participating in the riots. I just checked her twitter feed and it had reasonable responses, although nothing condemning Trump (of course) or naming Trumpists in particular.
