Mitch McConnell: “The voters, the courts, the states have all spoken. They’ve all spoken. If we overrule them, it would damage our republic forever.”
Indeed=Mitch gave a rousing speech totally repudiating Trump and sedition, saying that the People, the Courts and the States have spoken! 
Schumer is a bit more fiery than McConnell.
If the GOP had retained the Senate, no way he would have said this.

And they’re not showering them with tear gas from helicopters or something??
The police have become just another gang. They don’t want to be cracking these guys’ heads, so they’re using about as little force as they can get away with. Very much unlike all the clips we saw from this summer.
And now they’re having to evacuate the House Office Building.
I think there was always a chance that McConnell would make this speech. He did try to stop the Republicans from contesting, calling it his most important vote. I think he was waiting for the GA elections first. It’ll be interesting to see how Fox covers McConnell’s speech.
Listening to the House. Jeez. One of them said how could the guy who drew thousands at rallies get beat by the guy who didn’t leave his basement? They’re going to repeat this several times for two hours each? A stunt to push the official declaration of Biden’s win after people in the East go to bed?

Ted Cruz says there should be an election commission a la Hayes-Tilden’s 1876 election. Does he know the commission voted in Hayes’ favor along party lines? I used to think he is an idiot. Now I know he’s an idiot.

I’d better not hear a single Republican (politician or just registered) ever mention the words “States Rights” ever, ever again.
You have to wonder how long they are going to keep this nonsense up. I mean, how many times can they repeat the same shit over and over and then get voted down? I have to think some of them are going to get through the first one or two “contested” (not in reality) states and then throw in the towel, having “made their point.”
And in the House, Colorado’s own freshman Representative Boebert (look her up) is debating. OMG she is shouting like she is at a rally. Not that I would expect anything different from her.
On which state makes it cross the 270 line. I came up with Vermont yesterday. After that I was wondering where D.C fits into this. I had it with the D’s. If it’s “Washington DC” or put at the end because it’s not a state then it would be Virginia.
I’m surprised she hasn’t gotten more national traction. She is very insane and remember while she is up there yelling at other congressmen she is armed.
