I have mixed feelings about personally reviewing the video. Talking about it is fine, but watching it is something else. So I’ll leave off her shooting from here on out.

Agree with accident. The cops looked shaken and many were looking toward/after the woman’s situation after instead of at the protesters.
Here’s what Politico has to say:
The small contingent of Capitol police — once cheerfully guarding the entrance and politely pointing Trump supporters to the bathrooms — was soon overwhelmed by waves of flag-bearing protesters. Though they’d earlier thanked the officers for their service, the crowd began to turn on the police. Crowds began gathering around officers, demanding that they let them into the streets, up the lawn, onto the balconies.
I’m in no way defending the Capitol Police and don’t doubt some of them were/are Trumpsters, but if the cell phone videos were shot before the Trumpsters stormed the building, that wouldn’t in itself mean much.
The Politico article is well worth a quick read.
S. E. Cupp, conservative writer, being snarky tonight. One of CNN’s analysts said Josh Hawley should be censured, and she said “That’ll show him.”
Chris Cuomo can shove it. He’s advocating for the Democrats to “accommodate” the rioters.
one cop panicked? It’s amazing more people weren’t shot.
Amazingly, police are able to use restraint when they are being threatened by white people.
What’s going on in the House? I hear that members are shouting at each other and threatening each other.
Fair enough but then you will have to take my word for it.
Your link included another angle, and she doesn’t appear to me to be in the middle of the crowd, but to be very near the door they were breaking through. If she was the first person to try and go through the broken glass, and all the rest stayed behind the door, that would explain it.
Honestly it seems when they mean to shoot it is a hail of bullets.
Here’s the details.
Turns out that Democrat Conor Lamb called the Republicans who are objecting liars, and one of them took issue. Such snowflakes.
I’m pretty sure Andy Harris (R-MD) was shouting “he called me a liar!”
Griffith wasn’t the one Pelosi booted, because he asked another question after. (‘when is the right time to raise a point of order?’ ‘immediately, you are late’)

I see I’m not alone in not watching, getting info from other sources. I watched a lot of the Senate stuff, but I found it hard to listen to any of the objectors in the House.
But, in case someone didn’t know, here’s a link to the House:
Joint Session of Congress for Counting of Electoral College Ballots - YouTube
Currently some Republican non-objector calling out his brethren right now, though. He’s saying they care more about spectacle and think they can rewrite reality by repeating things that are false. Then he yielded to another Republican who is saying we need to follow the Constitution, and is arguing States Rights.

I tend to find YouTube works better than most other video players out there, as it’s designed for all the viewers and the bandwidth. In this case, I see nothing but a blank page with some tabs when I check your link, and no buttons work.
Who would have thought the gentleman from Pennsylvania would be the most ardent objector to Pennsylvania’s vote count?
~Max
Florida guy is just lying. States setting election laws does not mean state legislatures set the voting law. Plus all legislatures can delegate any responsibility they want to others, as effectively they are just tacitly voting to approve it.
He should know this, as the US Congress has done this several times.
How about the fact that she was an idiot? Oh, let’s storm the Capitol. I’ll be surrounded by people who think like me. Oh, shit! Why are they ducking? Let’s leap through the window.
Move on.
Common sense should’ve prevailed, but not in her case.
So, moving on, can we at least finish the ECs?
