There may be more to the story than I originally thought, given that two of the Congresscritters named have made some interesting statements.
First, Mo Brooks throws his staff under the bus:
Boebert effectively lawyered up, throws in the phrase “anywhere in Washington DC” because, well, any future questions regarding her participating insurrectionist activity at places other than the Capitol has already been addressed by her statement saying she didn’t perform Insurrectionist activity at places other than the Capitol.
Which was nothing anyone accused her of…
“And as for what they might have plotted at their hotel just outside of city limits, well…”
Ford’s pardon of Nixon was phrased to cover any Federal crimes he might have committed during his entire Presidency. A Trump pardon of anybody taking part in eeeeeeevil shenanigans on Jan. 6 could have also been very broadly worded.

Note how she said “on January 6th”. She carefully omitted January 1st through the 5th. Could she have led a group of MAGATs on a tour of he Capitol area before the 6th?
