Cleaning the lobby floor at Mar-A-Lago with his tongue isn’t the most filthy place Kevin has had to place his tongue in service of Trump, I reckon. So likely not much of a punishment.
(And yes, Trump will sell tickets.)
I’m more interested to see for how long Trump can keep a lid on his anger over Kevin’s betrayal. He said he’s not mad at McCarthy. But that’s today.
He surely can’t clean the floor with his tongue when it’s so firmly implanted up Trump’s ass, where it’s going to have to stay if he gets the speakership.
None of all this really is going to change much, whoever becomes Speaker. They all have to stick their tongues up Trump’s asshole, fighting over who can tickle him more.
Trump, being ‘Mr. Transactional,’ may have acquired the skill of Lalalalalalalalalala-ing away thoughts that could harm his current interests. Having McCarthy remain anxious to please is better for Trump than having a denounced-and-exiled McCarthy working actively against him. (I would guess.)
So Trump may well be successfully avoiding thinking about the mean things McCarthy said about him right after 1/6.
It begs the question, if she thought it was Antifa or BLM that was doing the violence, why did she think Trump could do anything about it? She KNEW it was Trump supporters that were rioting.
I had a client threaten to make a motion to withdraw his guilty plea. The prosecutor basically said, “go ahead, we won’t object and we’ll go back to the pre-deal situation with you looking at 20 years.” He never filed the motion. This guy should also be careful what he asks for.
An accused insurrectionist had an unannounced visit from probation officers. He responded by grabbing for his shotgun, which he was not supposed to have in the first place. So he had his probation revoked and they sent him back to jail.
