I would have thought most of the people convicted of trespassing would have finished their jail time or other sentencing by now. But I guess he can at least clear their records.

As mentioned, there was a time when we were closer. But even then I was getting bad vibes due to his preoccupation with conspiracy theories. He was always trying to convince me the WTC towers were brought down by explosives, and he listened to Alex Jones’ radio show. I started to distance myself from him after he went full MAGA, and became anti-vax during COVID.

About the best I can say is it doesn’t surprise me. However, even though I expected as much from the asshole, it is still revolting when he does it.
Saying that what you did was less bad than what Donald Trump did is no excuse.
