It was only $5,600. It would be surprising if her campaign didn’t have that much cash on hand. The Giants owner was pretty much pressured into doing it. If he didn’t, there would be major blowback from the fans.

I’ve got a friend who seems to be getting the same feed from somewhere. When there was talk of invoking the 25th after the riot, I mentioned it to him and he immediately said, “After Biden’s sworn in?” Didn’t seem to occur to him that it might be used for the insurrectionist president.

But she’s also accused of leading tours of the Capitol a few days before the riot. IF the people on the tour were the insurrectionists and IF Boebert showed them where Nancy would be going if she left the Chamber during a crisis then her tweet would be pinpointing Pelosi’s location.
My understanding - I read it a couple weeks ago but can’t find the cite - is that lawmakers in the chamber were specifically asked not to post anything about where they were/their movements, and that Bobert’s tweet came after that warning. I can’t find the article where I read that, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Thousands of National Guard troops will remain in Washington, D.C., through the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump thanks to continuing threats of violence against lawmakers. The number of troops has already dropped and will continue to drop from a high of around 25,000 to below 20,000 now. It is slated to drop to 5,000 in February.

Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.
I’m aware of this conspiracy theory, and it’s been around almost since Biden took the Democratic nomination, and certainly since he named Harris as his running mate.
But I really don’t get it. Who is in charge, and why Kamala Harris? Why is this shadowy and very powerful group plotting to install Kamala Harris as president?
I mean, she had a pretty lackluster run for the nomination. I wouldn’t have thought that powerful forces were dedicating themselves to making her president. If they were, wouldn’t they just have made sure she won the primary?
And I would have expected the conspiracy theory nuts to think the plot was going to bring back Hillary Clinton, or maybe even Barack Obama (since constitutional term limits would obviously mean nothing to them).
I don’t get it. Harris seems like an unlikely beneficiary of the lizard people or the deep state or whoever is behind this one.
