A Foot Cramp MMP

great, now I want waffles.

Happy Thorsday!

It’s a cool cloudy 68 degrees outside and supposed to rain.

Yesterday sucked, I slept most of the day.
Today is my first official day back to irk. I have been irking a little here and there but only when I felt like it, not on schedule.

I still need to call the credit union about the truck title, and probably the MVA as well. A few other calls need to be made. I never heard back from sprint about the fraud, so I need to call them. Another collection agency has started calling. Once again I told them they have the wrong number, once again they promised to remove my number from their list, and once again they lied. So I need to send all that info off to the lawyer.

I don’t feel like dealing with any of it but the truck stuff deadline is today.

I should call my mother, I haven’t talked to her since I got home.
She worries me a little but I never know if she is not thinking right or just being dramatic.

Here you go, rosie.

Yes, they were cold ,so I knitted them little white sweaters from the surplus dog hair.:stuck_out_tongue:

Brunch today will be a mushroom and Swiss omelet, with bacon. I will be not be nekkid during the frying process. Sorry, ladies.

Swampy, it’s not polite to talk about butts & beans in the same post. :o

No you don’t. Ehhh, maybe you do.

I was up way too late [del]last night[/del] this morning dealing with brick after brick of cream cheese & turning them into nummy, heavy, snap-the-plastic-fork-when-you-go-to-pick-it-up NY-style cheesecakes. Unfortunately, they took almost as long to cool as they did to bake before I put them in the fridge. A grasshopper one for tonight, & a (currently) plain one for Sat that will get patriotic-topped with blueberry & razzleberry sauces, along with some Redi-whip (don’t judge, much easier to do straight lines at the last minute with that {taking dessert to someone else’s house, so I can’t do ‘real’ whipped crème too early}).

Smokeage continues. I’m lookin’ at takin’ it all up in about an hour. The ribs will be wrapped in heavy duty foil and finished up in the oven Sattidy. In the mean time they shall live in da fridge. The chikin thighs shall also be wrapped and live in da fridge. Tomorrow chikin boobs and laigs shall be smoked.

In a bit, I shall order up pizza via teh intartoobz and OYKW will go pick it up. I’m gettin’ a little hongry so magic pizza shall be good for N.O.L.

spidey OYKW makes a killer Noo Yawk cheesecake. I am torn between that and a DQ ice cream cake for my birthday.

We drove down to BBBobbio’s neighborhood earlier, since **FCD **needed some stuff from an electrical supply place down thereabouts. I noticed that the Arby’s is being converted into a DQ - that’ll be the second one in the county! How classy is that?!?!?

Pizza has been ingested. In a few minutes the ribs and chikin shall be taken out of the smoker and wrapped in foil. After that, I foresee nappage.

Now I am wonderin’ why an Arby’s is convertin’ to DQ. What led the Arby’s to be converted? What is the process? What if later the Arby’s regrets its decision? Can it convert back to an Arby’s?

It’s a crisis in franchisage. All of the Arby’s in this area went tits up not too long ago. A few have come back on line, but I guess the one in Lexington Park wasn’t worth resuscitating. And with Rita’s gone, DQ should be extra busy!

How you doin’?

spidey, cheesecake is the only reason that I keep an electric mixer. :stuck_out_tongue: I make my favorite niece one every year for her birthday. she’s the one who bought the mixer.

swampy, isn’t the rule that when you hit a half century, you get two birthday cakes?

dogbutt buys dog food while I make cheesecake(s) & he get’s the how you doin’???

Mooommm, do you have local soft-serve places that are better than DQ? I much prefer the local places over DQ.

Your ideas intrigue and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I achieved nappage. Now it’s thunderatin’ all around. Bring it on, I say! In other news, dindin shall be smoked chikin thighs, peas 'n carrots, and au gratin N.O.T. from a box (don’t judge!).

With he current humidity and my lack of hair? No way! Besides, it ain’t my country even if I have fought for their not being shackled by the burden of English rule. Vive le Roi!

Now I got to go hit some threads fast and them clean my thundermugs. And from me that just sounds dirty.

Pride goeth before a fall.
One of those Greek fellows said that, and look at the trouble they are in.
:dubious:

Hah! The Government, in it’s infinite goodness (and again, Hah!) has granted us bureaucrats 59 minutes of administrative leave today to begin the 4th of July debauchery…er, celebrations, early.

So I am out of here! A little shopping on the way home and then three days of…well, we’ll see.

Keep your money in your sock.
:dubious:

Proverbs 16:18 “18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” You should know that. :dubious:

We have a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect until 4:15 EDT accordin’ to the NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. They said I should stay inside and away from windows. I guess this means I shouldn’t stay in an air conditioning then.

swampy, you beat me to it! I knew it was destruction, but I couldn’t name chapter and verse.

I sat down to watch some TV, and fell asleep. Higgs helped. I just pulled a couple of pieces of tuna out of the freezer for supper, but if **FCD **wants something else, that’ll work, too. In fact, chickie salad would be lots easier. We shall see.

It’s been dreary all day, and it’s supposed to continue thru the next 2 days at least.

I got shooed outta da kitchen! OYKW literally told me to “shoo” cause he’s makin’ dindin. I guess if’n I’m gonna keep him around I should trust him in the kitchen. Really though, he can cook. So I am now “shooed” from the kitchen.

In honor of Canada Day, we got their wildfire smoke.

How in the heck did smoke from a fire in Sasketchewan end up in North Carolina? Was it the ever-elusive left turn in Albuquoique?
