Things I have done today:

  1. walked the dog, twice
  2. cleaned the kitchen
  3. filled a precription
  4. Coffee!
  5. Mailed my mom’ birthday card, gift, and poem:

6.Thanks, meek. The Oiler fans were some of the coolest last year. Unfortunately our goalie got his leg cut open in Sundays game(you know you’re tough if you can see muscle and keep playing till you can grab the puck) :eek: :eek: :eek:

Lists!
Here is what is planned for today:

  1. Forage for food–done, (except I forgot sugar, which I expressly went to the store for)
  2. Oops, awake, arise and dress–did that before the store.
  3. Laundry (in the dryer)
  4. Reference homework–yeah, get right on that…
  5. Class x 2, after making dinner.

Here’s another list. Ok, so the list thing is kind of fun.

List of my pets;

  1. Picante. Leopard Gecko, a young adult, who likes to walk all over me, dragging his fat tail everywhere. Yesterday he climbed down my back. I had my hair in two braids, and he used one of the braids as a ladder/swing and escaped onto the couch. Luckily, leopard geckoes don’t go very fast.
  2. Red, or That Little Bastard, my red-eared slider. And he is an angry little bastard.
  3. Gamra, the SO’s snapping turtle. Lazy as HELL.
  4. Sam, my betta.
  5. Julian, my (juli) catfish. The betta & catfish are like an abusive couple. Sometimes the betta picks on him. He pulled out all of his whiskers. But most of the time they get along, and the catfish will even sit on the betta sometimes.
  6. Harvey, the snail that resides with them. Sometimes Harvey makes a whole bunch more little snails, and we have to clean them up. But no matter how thorough we are, a snail always remains. I doubt if it’s the same one, but his name is Harvey.

  1. I FINISHED A PAPER! YAY!
  2. I’m downloading yesterday’s episode of Rome to watch later.
  3. It’s a lovely day outside. I’m going to take a walk to the library and get some coffee.

Things to do this week:

Why doesn’t secretarial work ever have a swing shift? I’d *love *that![/li][/ol]

My afternoon to-do list:
1 - drop off craft show app at post office
2 - go to Lowe’s and pick up door - they didn’t call us when it got in, the buttheads!
3 - go to McKay’s and get foodstuffs - don’t forget the food list in the jacket pocket
4 - come back home - no wandering aimlessly allowed
5 - feed spousal unit
6 - skritch puppies and kitty
7 - ???
8 - PROFIT!!!
9 - empty dishwasher
10 - whatever.

Well, time to start on my list. Laterz!!!

Where did today go?? I didn’t really goof off here but I also feel like I didn’t get much work done. I’m just don’t know where all the time went!

Random gossip I learned today at work:

  1. New coworker/quad neighbor is getting divorced, which explains why he’s selling his condo and moving into an apt.
  2. Vendor who’s been really helpful and is a really nice person got engaged while on vacation last week.
  3. Coworker’s former coworker (at another company) was seen making out at work (at the other company).

No, none of it is interesting gossip, especially since I barely know any of these people and you don’t know any of them at all. But it’s the only thing I could think to list.

Truer words never spake.

The weather outside is unbelievable. Scottish Darling and I sat in the grass, mud and all, and spent our afternoon talking about nothing in particular. Tonight our friend’s birthday party will consist of wine and a campfire. Good times.

Yes, I had plenty of coffee today - one side effect, tho, my bangs drove me crazy - I finally taped them up, then forgot I had until cow-orker said “you have tape on your head”. She wasn’t curious as to how it got there, or even why it was there; but she felt the need to point it out to me just in case I was unaware of its presence.

Ouch.

Let me 'splain. I have a very bad habit of, when I am sanding/polishing/buffing my handmade beads/jewelry, I sit on the floor like a two-year-old, hunched over and sanding/polishing/buffing by hand with various grades of sandpaper, then soft cloths, then I take stuff downstairs and buff it on a buffing wheel, which is at about waist-height to me.

I got into “the zone” today, and like, totally forgot to change positions every so often. I feel like Quasimodo looks. I have taken three ibuprofen. I want sympathy. (And a reminder not to DO that again, dangit!)
