Thunderstorms all today, according to the forecast. That should keep things cool.
And yes, they are also allergic to eggs. They went to France in March, and ate lot of duck and vegetables, and drank lots and lots of wine.
Morning, mumpers! Yes, it is still morning here but only for another half-hour.
So far I’ve done very little that’s productive, I’ve been busy sorting out things for Tin Knickers because she’s incapable of looking in filing cabinets for things despite the fact there’s only one place to look and all the stuff is in alphabetical order. Then I had to hunt around on a colleague’s desk for something that I only vaguely know what it’s like so I think I found it but I could be wrong.
Handover notes? Priority? Oh, silly me. I must go and photocopy something now. It’s urgent.
Last night was beerverage night, and jolly nice it was too.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ here. In a bit I’ll get busy on the pile. I also will need to get gussied up for funeralizin’ and all. Ick. I also need to go to the sto’ for stuff for this weekend. If I had sense, I could have done all that last night whilst I was runnin’ all over town buyin’ water but nooooooooo… I have to go yet again to buy stuff. Oh well, one of the things I need to do is a beer run and a beer run is always a worthy cause.

Morning? What? Where? It’s 2:30pm and I feel like I need a nap! Just tidying up my desk, clearing my internet cache and shredding incriminating documents - a nice way to end the week!
Phil - I’ve seen Weird Al in concert - a few years ago. That was an amazing multimedia show. Complete with costume changes (he wore the big suit for “Fat”). You’re good to let daughter (and her husband I’m assuming) have a night out like that.
I am playing hookey today. So there.
Both kids feeling under the weather, still. This was their second week of camp, and they’ve missed most of it. 
This was supposed to be my second week of no kids, getting work done, and I’ve missed most of it.
So there, I’ve whined.
Gotta go check on the kidlets and see how they are.
I am here. I ended up getting about 3 hours of sleep, total. And that was broken up too. So I am a bit loopy. Whee!
I would have called in sick, but we have a board meeting this morning, and I have to be there.

I have to do something I don’t know how to do today. I hate that. Sometimes learning sucks. I’d just rather have an easy day, ya know?
So ReboSon did well on his GED test, and today he’s going to take a test at the Community College to see what remedial classes he might need to take WHEN HE STARTS SCHOOL IN THE FALL! I am overflowing with pride for him. He’s finally growing up and realizing that he needs an education to have the future he wants.

I’m here at work, but this morning’s commute was truly annoying.
There were the left lane vigilantes and the “no-place and all damn day to get there folks” to contend with. There were the “oh noooo, you’re not passing me so I’m going to speed up folks” and of course there were just the general assholes who couldn’t find their way out of a three foot driveway. :mad: :rolleyes:
Ah well, I’m here now and I need to finish my project up so I can start the next one.
I guess I should get to it. Thank goodness today is my Friday.

I swear, the first thing I do when I graduate is make the snark into its own real live very own blog a la the Comics Curmudgeon.
