Yay for work, Rebo!!
I ran to the Wawa for a breakfast sammich because I wanted to. May as well enjoy part of my stoopit work schedule from Hades. So I’m gonna eat it now.

The SKoreans haven’t had the practice in providing quality butt-kickings that you guys have, however…
ETA: Not that they can’t, they just haven’t had the opportunities.
The rosemary chocolate cake sounds awesome! Anyone have any idea if I could just use whole wheat flour to replace the spelt flour in it though? I don’t really want to go out and buy something special for just one recipe.
It’s been hot and humid here too, rigs. Which means I haven’t been sleeping. Which means I’m grouchy. It’s fun.
I made salmon with a dill-cucumber relish for dinner last night with orzo and grape tomatoes with feta. They’re both really good.
If you scroll down through her comments, somebody asked this question and I believe the answer was yes along with some other possible suggestions.
Fast one through ------- Muvvers house closed and we are now back to just one home, boss’s mother very sick and may not make it, my best friend got an infection in his replacement knee, and I still have hopes of running to southern W VA to Camden Park over the weekend. Is it possible to burn a candle all around the circle rather than just the ends?
kopek it’s better to light one little candle than to trip over the dog on the way to the bathroom. Or sump’n like that.
Da cave is sanitized. So is da bear. I’s all cleaned and good smellin’ now.
Remind me not to cut my hair in the morning before I’m awake.
What should have been my usual buzz wound up as a full-on shave.
The funny thing is that it took three hours for anyone to notice my newly shiny head at the office.
I’m not putting that thing in my mouth. Who knows where it’s been!
This happened to my mom. Not a good thing.
So, I stopped at a couple of places on my way to TVLand to see if they had an decent silverplate. Normally I spend about 25 to 50 cents per piece. Once place had forks and spoons for $15 each and knives for $6. No, they weren’t really sterling. I know this because they said ‘silverplate’ on the back of each piece. This made me all :rolleyes::rolleyes:.
Now I think it’s time for a nap since TVMan and TVAssistant are downstairs working.
I am back!
Back from loved up coupledom.
Back from vacation.
Back to work next week in my new job
Oh well. CA is great - warm and sunny and I am in the process of ‘de-bachelorising’ the house. I scrubbed the fridge out yesterday which was nasty then stocked up on groceries.
Will read later. Mwah!
Welcome backs mmmmmm’s! Did you wear hubby out?
I just made a really nummy lookin’ green sallit and will top it with sliced grilled chicken boob. That and some breadsticks will be dindin tonight. A nice summery dindin on an actually pleasant and not too hot day. We may dine on the back porch even cause it’s that kinda nice.
It is frigging hot! I hate summer!
I completely agree. I used to think I liked summer 'cause the pool outside is awfully nice. But… not sleeping for the last 3 nights has left me looking like this  combined with this :o (yawning) so I’m starting to think that summer just all around sucks. That or we need an underground cave to sleep in. I don’t mind it during the day, just at night when I want to sleep. Now if I had a basement with a bedroom underground where it stays cool… I think I may have just hit on the answer. Too bad we just bought our townhouse 2 years ago and aren’t planning on moving for about 10 years.
**Sticky **why did you link to that website? I’m wasting a lot of time and drooling over a lot of recipes. They all look so goooooooooooood!
Actually, thank you for the time killer… I’m bored and unmotivated today!
I on the other hand lurve me some summer!
I’s hongry! I gotta wait at least an hour to eat though. Maybe I need some peanut butter crackers.
…because you went swimming and have to wait an hour after swimming to eat? I don’t think that’s the way it works!
OYKW is on his way. I can put the bread in the oven now. I will not starve. I knew y’all were worried.
hot. humid. bleh.
In other news, a few months ago, the cafeteria was taken over by a different firm, promising healthier choices plus vegetarian and vegan options. They have delivered - The salad bar now has more cut raw veggies as opposed to 15 different “starch and mayonnaise” salads. But the really cool thing is twice a week folks fromm a Japanese restaurant offer bento boxes with choice of sushi roll and choice of protein of the teriyaki. Oh. Great. Og. That was the Best. Lunch (N.O.L.). Ever!.
Yay for a good N.O.L. Rosie! It’s the little things like that that make life good ain’t it!
Ima go ready a Boston <snerk> butt <snerk> in a little while which will go on the smoker tomorrow. Preparation for the big Memorial Day Eve (what? it’s on Sunday!) doin’s are underway!
I need chocolate. Or ice cream. Or maybe chocolate ice cream. There isn’t any of the above here.
The war is over! We won! I’m back to my regular schedule. YAY!
In fact, I left an hour early today, so I had time to take my fambly out to eat. We went to the former Arizona Pizza - it’s now Rustic Ranch or some such. Anyway, it was OK, but not great, IMNSHO. At least I don’t have to do dishes.
Daughter helped me take the seats out of the van so I can load the futon tomorrow. Yay!
I need chocolate, too. Except I’m stuffded, so all I could do is look at it and sniff it.
C’mon Firday!
That is all.
