Then you missed my point. Of course it hasn’t been the case here. But if **wring ** had been familiar with **Aeschines’ ** previous behavior (which she says she had not noticed before) she would have known the effort was almost certain to be futile before even starting the thread.
I took the “obviously” line to imply that she understood that. IME, wring is astute enough to recognize a hopeless cause when she sees it.
I took the “obviously” to mean this thread only. I agree that **wring ** is astute enough to recognize a hopeless case; it therefore seemed obvious that she had not previously noticed what a consistent asshole Aeschines has been (as she says herself a few posts up).

My dear Ekers, despite the “ignore” option so readily available to you, you’ve been a very big contributor to my readership for several years now. Much appreciated! But I wonder why that is.
The reason is that you and all the bitchers in this thread dig it. You enjoy the war. If you didn’t, you’d simply not read and not post. (Note: Any complaint about me has been, for the past two years or so, about me in my own threads, and all of those Pit threads except two I can think of. No one has accused me of generally offensive or antisocial board behavior. So, if you don’t dig how I post in my own threads, don’t read 'em. So simple.) If I didn’t dig it, I wouldn’t post the Pit threads that rile you peabrains up. I didn’t dig how the paranormal threads went, so I haven’t posted in them. See a pattern here that my be useful to you?
