Ah, again I’m all by myself liking something. I loved the way she changed up the song. And I know how to spell her name-- even more than she does!
Lacy Brown is doing a version of the Dixie Chicks version of Landslide. What a mess.
Lacey, oh Lacey. Landslide? More like CRAPslide.
*see what I did there?
Lacey’s got on horrible clown make-up and she sounds like a banshee. I liked her less than than Ashley.
Sorry, Lacey, but Lilly out-quirkied you. Did she forget the words in there?
I agree with Randy…Lacey was horrible. I thought it was cats outside mating.
We have an “indulgent”! Everyone drink!
Ouch…I wanted Lacey to be better than that. I thought she was better in her audition.
Indulgent-- BINGO!
I didn’t really think Lacey was as bad as the judges said. I didn’t think she was good (and copying a Dixie Chicks cover of a Stevie Nicks song is really lame), but I didn’t think she was any worse than the rest of them
You gotta admit though, that hairdo DEMANDS clown makeup.
Michelle is pretty good. Wondering if they hid her on purpose.
Ok, Michelle looked great, the singing not so hot.
Michelle was good. Wonder if she’ll be good when she has to get away from familiar material.
Pretty girl, nice voice.
Serviceable. I agree with Simon, it was good enough to get through. Kara is wrong about not hitting the notes, the notes were fine it was just good enough. Plus she’s got a great name.
Didi reminds me far too much of sensitive piano playing girl from a few season ago. My husband thinks she should do an Erika Badu song. I’d be totally in her corner if she did Tyrone.
Liked her a lot.
Didi is wearing my grandma’s afghan. This song is boring and she’s off-key.
It’s really hard for me to respect anybody who thinks a Kara song is a real thing that you should play and sing (or who uses the word, “spiritual”), but Michelle was the best of the night so far. I thought she sounded like Nora Jones on that song (was that a Nora Jones song?).
No star power is right, but it’s not like the others do either. I think Haeley is the only one who really has any stage presence so far.
Simon is a big assed liar. When someone does something unique he calls it strange and weird. He doesn’t want different, he wants his next Top 40 money-maker.
