American Idol 3/31-4/1

“I think everybody likes them [Rascal Flatts].”

Bzzzzzt! Sorry Danny.
ETA: How did cricetus sneak in there?

I don’t get Gokeymania.

Rascal Flatts. Gokey would be into this crap.

Insipid, douchey performance. He was in key. The judges will love it.

I seriously think Danny stank that one up. The judges don’t agree. Sigh.

I don’t think I am overclouded by semi-rational Danny hate, am I?

gags self

God, I loathe Danny.

“You moved everyone in this room emotionally.” Really? REALLY?

What the heck am I missing?

Simon disses Marley then says Rascal Flatts was a “great song.” The guy’s got zero credibility. Either that or it amuses him to pretend he likes crappy country songs.

STFU, Gokey.

Gwen Stefani was a good pick for Allison’s voice, but this is the worst she’s ever done.

I didn’t know Allison played guitar!
Not her best, but she still rocks.

S^G

She didn’t really kill tonight.

I don’t like Danny much but I gotta agree with Simon, that was Gokey’s best so far. It may have helped that I was in the basement and didn’t watch but I have speakers down there and just listened.

I do like Allison and love that song but it wasn’t her best.

Allison plays guitar? Cool. Mt respect for her just went up. She’s got giant 80’s hair tonight.

Good performance. I like this better than the original. Well done. She and Adam both walk all over Gokey talent-wise.

I can’t believe the judges are trashing Allsion after praising the paen to vacuous mediocrity that is Gokey. They’re wrong.

Yep. I would go so far as to say it was her worst. Sorry Allison.

ETA: I still enjoyed it more than the Goke.

I hope Scott can really push his voice for Billy Joel… I keep wanting him to do really well.

S^G

That “Glee” show looks terrible.

Scott is boring.

Well, that was the best Scott’s done in weeks. Too bad it’s such a cheesy, boring song.

I still prefer the Billy Joel/Oscar the Grouch version.

Scott rocking the Joel.

I think he was just ok. He sounded fine, but not extraordinary. He’s really nothing special.

Here we go with Paul’s patronizing praise again.
