Ugh, I hate to be that poster, but does Hulu or any other online repository (like FOX) have the performances online anywhere? I missed last night and I’d like to catch up. Quick check of AmericanIdol.com only shows a recap of the episode, not the full performances.
Yeah, I hope Crystal is okay, too. I find her irritating, too, but I want her to lose fair and square, not be disqualified by a stupid health condition.

So were 90 percent of the songs last night. The difference is that she was actually good and engaging with it. The guys sang easy songs and sucked at it.

Crystal: Very good performance. I don’t really like this type of music, but she does it well. Much, much better than the crapfest from last week, which was the first time I’d watched AI this year. I honestly didn’t hear any talent in her whatsoever, and couldn’t figure out what people were hearing when they said she was good. But this was definitely good.

I thought the guys sucked too. I generally expect to see people who can perform a song better than I can. That was competent, yes, but ordinary. No better than anyone playing at any piano bar at any hotel.
I really hate this song (it’s a truly amateurish composition), but it’s not so annoying when Haeley’s singing it.

When Haeley thinks she won’t hit a note, she tends to just not sing it. Until she gets to the big, soaring choruses and then she’s just all over the place.

I don’t like what Lacey is doing with this song at the beginning, but once the music picked up it got a bit better. Still not good, though.
