Well, I’m coming into the mmp in the middle, squared. I’m in the middle of the mmp and in the middle of a road trip. I’m at the resting stage, in Rochester MN. It’s ok to be jealous.
The only snow left was what hasn’t melted from the plow piles. I was trying to decide whether to visit the Science Museum of Minnesota or the SPAM Museum in our side trip time. Then I was told that Mary Roach will be speaking at the Mayo Clinic tonight. Mary Roach beats spam any day. I will be there.
The boys took me on a 3.18 mile walk yesterday (youngest has an ap), and I’m almost recovered. I’m sure it will do me good in the long run.

We’ve avoided putting on the a/c so far - fans are moving the air around and it helps. Plus I’m watering the front lawn, and it seems to be cooling the air that blows in from that direction. Whatever works.
**FCD **is talking about taking retirement any day now. He has nothing to do at work and he’s bored out of his mind. We’ve been discussing how to adjust our budget - I figure after a couple-three months, we can adjust to a new lifestyle. Plus he’d be on call if any projects come up, so that’d be like a bonus. No decision yet, but I’m pretty sure he wants out now. We shall see.
It’s been a long day. Didn’t read, didn’t skim. We at irk have been declared to be outstanding in our field per the Big Deal Corporate Inspector Dude. We should probably come in from that field and get some work done.

Having a cold at work today was fun. Another guy at work also had a cold. The two of us were tag-team sniffling in the main room this morning. Another guy seemed a bit sick, but I think it might’ve been allergies.
Another day at work tomorrow. Cool stuff.
I was planning on irking from 'ome today & had a real productive morning. 1.5 loads laundry done; bathroom 2/3 cleaned. Then <fizzle> the interwebz went down Stoopit Verizon! so I had to call & scream at them & then go into the orifice. Since I was gonna be home, I only showered, but didn’t shave. Don’t shave when you’re PO’d. Iffn I had a pen in the bathroom, I coulda played connect the bleeding dots & drawn something really cool on my face.
On the way home from irk, I watched a fatal. I’m driving behind a Ferd explorer, when all of a sudden <BOOM> feathers EVERYWHERE! :eek: If I didn’t see the robin fall to the ground, I would’ve though it exploded!
Home from Evening Prayer over to the church house. 'Twas nice as usual. However, I’s tahrd!
Spidey did a bird explode on a Ferd Explorer or did a Ferd Explorer explode on a robin. Either way it’d be a cool thing to see.
Now Ima go lie down on the bed and watch teevee until beddy bye time.
