An MMP road trip

Happy B-Day Ruble

Midget, what is a ‘videogame orchestra’? Nice picture.

53F here on the way to 62F. At least all the rain has left the vicinity (it’s all yours, swampy.

At least until the afternoon soccer stuff, I am at loose ends so Internet surfin’ will ensue.

**MetalMouse - **the videogame orchestra is a wind band that specializes in playing music from videogames.

Happy Toosday!

It’s cold outside, but not too terribly cold. and is supposed to rain.
I hope it doesn’t rain when we are picking up the groceries.

I figured out why my leg hurts. I woke up several times last night and I had my leg hanging off the bed. I don’t know why.
Then again, I don’t know why I sleep balanced on the edge of the bed either.
Maybe because my life is so boring I like to sleep on the edge?

Happy Birthday Ruble!

I think your t-shirts are a collection, so doesn’t count as too many!

Today is Toosday which is dog day, so he gets his nails trimmed and his ears cleaned. Since I didn’t do much yesterday, which was kitchen day, I need to do some cleaning in there too.

Thanks everyone!!!

More an accumulation. As any get really worn or spots or anything I move them into a couple tubs for the swap meet at Phunfest. Some that are a collection are the ones made/issued for Phunfest; we have one of each going back to the first one and we have almost every year in the crew/staff version. But other than that its pretty much just clothing.

Way to go, Butters!

Sure, there’s endless fields of wheat, & corn, & sunflowers, & more wheat.
Happy Russian Currency Day!

Do you do that in the afternoon?
Attica! Attica! Attica!

Howdy Y’all! Both of my functionin’ brain cells bumped together and I figured out how to maintain broadband. Go Me! Painters are paintin’ away and it’s drizzly out. Other than the fact that da cave looks like well, furniture exploded all over the place especially in the livin’ and dinin’ rooms all is well.

Midget  pic!

You mean you’re not supervising the painters, offering helpful suggestions like “You missed a spot…”

Just finished another drawing from hell. About to start the 5th in the series. There are 6, in case you were wondering.

Happy Ruble Day!!!

Frost on the ground here this morning, and bright, hurtful sun in the sky. I take 'Beamer to the doctor in a bit, then hubby to the airport shuttle. That shall be my day.

Happy Toesday!

Be sure they don’t paint over the router’s waveform band area.

I have an epic rant against the ssa but I’m too lazy to write it down…our second half of winter is over it lasted 4 weeks this year 2 weeks around xmas and the last two weeks of February … happy peso day btw

Screwed up the groery order so we will be getting them tomorrow.

PSA -
This is your brain…
This is your brain in old age…
Don’t get old!

Got another call from the collection agency looking for the woman who had this number before I did.
Same company as before - how many times have I told them they have the wrong number?
How many times have I told them she is dead?
To which they said* oh I am so sorry,* and I said I’m not, couldn’t stand the deadbeat bitch
When they asked if I had a death certificate I was so tempted to say, no, no death certificate, nobody’s found the body yet
Let them think about that one for a minute
Anyway, I went out to their website and right there on the home page was a ‘How are we doing, send us an email to tell us what you think’ invitation.
So I did!

Ruble - better an accumulation of t-shirts than an accumulation of snow.

Spidey - nail trimmage occurs whenever we can get him to sit still.
He really isn’t bad about getting his nails trimmed, the problem is getting him to sit still.
Cleaning his ears is a lot harder.

I imagine they work on commission and new people are going through uncollected debt trying to make money.
I do like “nobody’s found the body yet”.

We have snow.

I just got a weird call, from some man who addressed me by my first name and then went on about having some other guy come out to talk to me and Tony - I have no idea who Tony is - about IRAs and other investments. Then he told me somebody (Fran?) was coming home early today and he has to go pick her up at the airport because she got an earlier flight, and he wanted to thank me and Tony for our hospitality.

Too weird.

Sah-son was almost named Tony, but he wasn’t.
Good thing or the call would have me spooked as to WTH is calling me.

Drama for my mom and sister continues. BG&E (their electric company) closed their driveway (they’re about a quarter of a mile off the street) because the tree that fell last week damaged the power pole and it could fall, plus wires are down. SO, my mom is staying with a former neighbor of ours and my sister and her critters are staying with our other sister and BIL - the ones who live close to Mom.

Apparently they have to clear out some trees, then bring in an auger to drill a hole for a new pole. THEN then can restore power. THEN they can call Verizon and get phone and FIOS back. She’s hoping it’ll be done by Saturday. What a mess!!

I had a pulled poke sammich and an apple for supper. meh.

Don’t much like weeks that start with 2 Moandays.

And I thought their power would be back on before the ship set sail.

Happy birthday Ruble!

Day one of the swampcave paint-a-thon is over. The color looks great! I posted some pics on my facebook wall so go there to see for yourself. If’n you want to look but don’t know my IRL name, which I use over there, pm me and I’ll let you know so’s you can go look. I know y’all are as excitated as I am.

I prefer to think if they had gone, they would have missed all of the inconvenience. Ah well, not my circus, etc.

I got important papers to deal with (disability stuff) and a car to get fixed. I think I’m all spooned out for the day (kid to the doctor, and hubby to the airport). I guess it will wait for tomorrow. Blurf.

For those following along at home, 'Beamer’s transition to new meds seems to be working and (fingers crossed, knock on wood) I think he’ll start back to school tomorrow. I’m cautiously hopeful that we’re heading the right way.

On a positive note, it being Tuesday, a day when new books are released, this week I got 3 new books that I have been waiting for.

I’m off to look at Swampy’s fab-u-LOUS new walls.

I forgot to mention that I’ve seen two bald eagles today. They’re not unheard of in Orygun, but 2 in one day, in town no less, is pretty cool. It also means that I need to keep an eye on Pixel while he’s out doing his business. He’s got his name for a reason. He’s an ittle-bittle guy. (I guess bald eagles don’t go for dogs as often as other birds do, but I’d rather not chance it.)

Happy birthday ruble!

Nice pic emily.

ruble, Bean Blossom doesn’t really reach full stride until Indepence Day. You may want to hit the Dragon. I will likely do it again this summer.

Getting ready to make a card for my boss in the studio this evening. She turns a whole 28 years old this weekend. There are days that I feel really old at irk. :stuck_out_tongue:
