That’s what I thought, too. But my sister is just a little crazy when it comes to her critters, and for whatever reason, my mother obsessed about the food in the freezers - like being going 12 days would make a difference.
They’re both adults - they can make their choices, however idiotic I find them.
I’d tahred. I may crash early.
This past weekend I slept with a bunch of people in a bus!
(It was late at night and many of us were asleep.)
I like saying things in such a way that they sound sillier than they actually are.
Went to my favourite chicken restaurant today.
**Midget **- reminds me of eons ago when I was in some training in the Navy - the class consisted of a marine sgt and me. We got to the room way ahead of the instructors, way early in the morning, and both of us put our heads on the table and dozed off. So, naturally, he told people we’d slept together. 
He wasn’t skeevy about it - it was obviously a joke. You had to be there. 
OK, going to bed now. MWAH!

All in all a pretty damn good birthday. 
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 45 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 58 and N.O.S. for the day. Definitely cooler weather than we’ve had recently. I’m told it shall warm up into the 70s again next week. We shall see. Today continues da cave paint-a-thon. I shall take down the bed in the master bedroom this mornin’ with the assistance of a good friend who has offered his services to help me drag furniture around. I’ve done the same for him in the past so it’s a favor bein’ returned. This bein’ a Wednesday in Lent I would go down to St. Paul’s for their noonday thing but not today. Tonight will be soup ‘n sammich over to the church house so suppage is taken care of at least. So a fun day of hopefully gettin’ two rooms back together and messin’ up another room.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day! Rah.

**doggio **- I doubt that they’ve tossed any food yet. The freezer of concern is a big chest-style in the basement - in a room that has no natural light. I can’t see my mom doing a chore like that by candlelight.
I was running way late today - OK about 5 minutes - but in terms of a morning commute, that’s a significant amount of late. There was a lot more traffic than I usually encounter - apparently I normally beat the rush. Plus it’s rainy, and that messes things up.
Will today be another Moanday? Stay tuned and find out!

I woke up at 3 and never got back to sleep, so I foresee a grumpy day.
The dog is already making me crazy. Usually he settles down after breakfast but this morning he wants to grab stuff off my desk to make me chase him - but I have to irk.
It’s supposed to be rainy with a high of 46, so not too terrible.
Tonight starts season 3 of Hap and Leonard.
I have been looking forward to it.
We have to go groceries today, outside of that it is irk as usual.

I’m drinking a coffee at the moment, and planning out what to do for the rest of the day, before tonight’s rehearsal.

White stuff is comin’ down fast & furious right now. I went out to shovel what was there as the bottom layer was very wet & heavy. There was a ¼" again by the time I was done.

Been ambitious this morning. Mailed off my passport for renewal, got my lawnmower back from a tuneup, paid two bills, did some soccer work on-line. I rewarded myself with two BLT’s.
Down to 41F here and I have 5 year old girls to practice soccer with this evening. Told them to bundle up, better be sure I do. At least no snow.
So I missed **Ruble’s ** birthday yesterday, or did I miss yesterday altogether?

When I lived down in Eugene, the Letrical Company decided to replace the power pole in front of my house and sent out a truck with a big auger to drill a hole for the new pole.
While they were drillin’, and I was watchin,’ suddenly a huge geyser of water shot up out of the hole! :eek: They had hit, and severed, the water main for the whole neighborhood! They eventually got the water shut off and the water line repaired. That took all day. Good thing I didn’t need to go anywhere that day, as apparently everybody in the office just had to come out and stare down into that hole for most of the day.
They came back and replaced the pole another day.
Leftover potato-corn chowder for dinner last night. Tonight may well be pizza cause Wifey is going to her life drawing class tonight. She originally tried to talk me into going with her, but as much as I might like to spend a couple of hours looking at an attractive young woman naked, what little artistic talent I once had seems to have deserted me, and i’m afraid it would just be embarrassing, and my life is full of embarrassing moments these days as it is. 
Case in point: yesterday at the store I purchased a magazine, but when I got home I discovered that I had already bought that issue a few days earlier. :o
I wonder if the store will take it back?
Just finished an afternoon coffee. Probably not a good idea, but I’m so caffeinated that I don’t care. wheeeeeee 
Supper was yum!! NY strip, instant smashed N.O.T. (don’t judge) and onions-n-green beans sauteed in butter and sesame oil. Two happy tummies, plus Higgs got a few little steak scraps.
**FCD **finally worked thru the problems he was having programming his new machine, and he made a really neat-looking heat sink for a helicopter. He’s meeting with his former boss about building them for the Navy - he’s got the contract, he’s just got to wait for the money to be shaken loose. So YAY!!
As for me, I intend to chill this evening. It was a busy day and I need some chillage.

I went and had my hairs did. The temp dropped 10 degrees while I was there. I think a cold front went through. It’s going to be in the 50’s by Firday morning.
