Another Manic Moanday MMP

Time to recline. MWAH!

I worked, came home, made curry chicken pot. Next up: going to college hockey!

Budweiser? Budiweiser? The only thing Budweiser is good for is shoving up a chicken’s butt.

Well, that shoots a day…

Up at 0630, did some checkbook stuff then off at 0730 for the soccer fields.

I thought it was supposed to cool off as we get close to October; nope, it was in the mid-80’s with no wind and no clouds and I was working three games. Got home about 1:30 in the PM and immediately took a 3-hour nap.

So this day is pretty much a scratch. However, Golden Corral is looking rather tempting…

I don’t think it was one of those but they look good for the wood furniture around here.
I’m ready for bed but I still have things to do.

Back from a day of being entertaining and educational and bailing out before the rain hit. Three more days (tomorrow and then next weekend) and it will be done for the year. I’ve been with this festival for better than 30 years and I’m starting to think its time to fade away. Just not the fun it used to be.

Home from the falls and as an added bonus, we hit the county fair there…it was a good day.

We et chikin wings and N.O.T. sallit for dindin. Now we’re watchin’ the DAWGS gnaw on some South Keerliner free range chikin.

Meh, if you can’t get Heineken dark.

Thanks for all the well wishes. My mom is doing very well. Out of the hospital. Bleeding stopped. She is running around and generally doing far more (in my opinion) than she should. I seem to be the one who is worn out by all of this.

I think this is the stuff of nightmares

Those who start imbibing at breakfast typically don’t have the most discerning palate. Okay, niteage - 5am wakeup call.

Home form hockey. State won.

The miniature emperor catered dinner tonight. Saw some dingdong walking away from the place as I was approaching, with his pizzas held vertically. I do not envy the mess when that box is opened.

So much for sleeping in - stoopit cat!

**FCD **wants me to help him paint the stand he made for his new machine. Other than that, my only plan is to plan for the week. I’ve also got to find my Machinery Handbook - I think it’s in the green bedroom.

Oh yeah, and I need to water the grass seed on the hill. Exciting day ahead!

Happy Sunday!

Up, caffeinated, off to the Caniac Carnival

Happy Sunday!

It’s a dark chilly 63 degrees outside, the days are getting shorter. It’s nice that it’s getting cooler, but I am not looking forward to winter.

Other than that SSDD

**sari **- the increasing dark is the main thing I dislike about this time of year. Before I retired, I’d be arriving at work in the dark, and since the building was essentially windowless, I might not see sun till I left 8 hours later. At that point, the most I could expect was maybe 3 hours of light - provided it wasn’t an overcast day that darkened way too early.

Not to mention the increased likelihood of hitting a deer during one’s morning commute. Twice in 7 years… lucky me.

I’m loving the coolness, having the windows open all the time and all, but the dark, not so much. I don’t think I could survive in far northern locations.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out, coolish but humid, with a predicted high of 94 for the day. Looks like we will head back towards more normal temps durin’ the week.

Plans for the day call for deheathenization Whiskypalian style. Other than that, not much. I could iron some shirts.

OK, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. At some point I must also purtify for deheathenization.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Heck, they wander around within a block of my apartment.
